Do you prefer Ownhammer IRs over IRs from Wall of Sound? I've been just playing with Wall of Sound which I got with my new Two Notes Captor X and I find it strange that all IRs from the software itself sound quite drastically different from the Ownhammer ones. They all have something like bite/harshness added against Ownhammer IRs no matter what mic I choose. Even when comparing similar IRs like VOX AC30. I would say that Ownhammer IRs sound more natural to me. It almost sounds like the default WOS IRs are equalized a little bit. Thanks :)

The user IR bug seems to have been fixed with the latest WOS III update (4.2.6)

Thanks for this! Is there some quick way to scroll through IRs to preview them rather then having to open several windows to choose an IR just to see if you like it? I haven't found a way but hoped that you or one of your viewers might know.

If you just want to scroll through the files, you can use the arrows next to the IR file icon that is already open. You can find it at the 'Miking' section.

Hi Jon, I'm sold on the OwnHammer. But what is your current fav software for hosting IR's? How about hardware? Helix or?

bob smith Well, it depends if you mean amp modeling software or just an IR loader? I use a bunch of different things for different purposes. For tracking I love my Axe FX but for the final mixes I often re amp with Helix Native because I love the sound and workflow. So it depends on the song/project.

Best way to find an IR after you've selected "User" and "computer" is to utilize the search function using part of the speaker name. Otherwise you may see a huge list.

yeah.....its not working. Bought the cab and i set the directory with all my IRS that i purchased and it wont load.....like ever
