Hi! I just followed your tutorial to make my first wig and I found that my wig has no stretch to it at all. I guess I "sewed through the elastic" but I'm not sure how not to if the goal is to sew the whole cap so there won't be any gaps. I'm gonna have to re-sew the perimeter of the wig now but I'm not sure how to do that without sewing through the elastic.

What part of the elastic band are you not suppose to sew through? Because you kinda sewed through it when you first started & now I’m confused 😂

Nae B I didn’t sew through the elastic band itself . It’s embedded under the black overlay of the cap . You’ll feel it if you do sew through it . When you put your needle through , it should only go through the material .

Nae B usually the cap fits my head , so I don’t have to sew it down . But if it doesn’t you can always add an adjustable band .

So when u are done it doesn't be so tight the cap don't fit ur head? Well i mean it fits to tight? Everytime im done it's to tight n I brought a extra large cap n a wig head one size bigger than my actual head size..Wat am I doing wrong here? I didnt even start on the edge of the band n it's to tight🤦🏾‍♀️
