Hi Johanna! I only came across your channel a few weeks ago and have been trying to catch up on all your videos. So, congratulations on the marriage and the baby girl (I know I'm so late!)! You've inspired me to make my own journals. I never realized just how much stuff I actually have in my crafting cabinet that I can use. Scrap pieces of paper, fabric, ribbons, etc. and a lot left over from my own wedding. Thank you!

Johanna! These are lovely :) I'm still working on my cover journal that I purchased tutorial from you but I'm dealing with everyone being sick at home :( will finish soon I hope!! I'm wondering if you've found a fix for something else though: I've gone back to look at memory books from a year ago and I realized that when I use double sided tape for tucks, whatever I tuck in tends to get stuck a little bit to the tape since it doesn't "dry"- i use tombow double sided tape and score tape. Unless I use glue, i can't get rid of the problem. Have you managed to find a double sided tape that works for you?
@JohannaClough7 жыл бұрын
marsplendid thank you 😊 i know exactly what you mean, sometimes I run into that problem but I find I can usually wiggle my tuck back out and free from the tape anyway.. i haven't found a tape that never does this and to be honest tape is not my favourite adhesive but I do appreciate the precision and control it gives! ❤
@JunkJournalJenny7 жыл бұрын

Great tutorial as always :).......do you find double sided tape 'stronger' than a glue stick ? I've used glue sticks with mixed results :( and probably messier lol
@JohannaClough7 жыл бұрын
Susan Jacquier i find it all depends! Glue sticks are great for larger surfaces, double sided tape is not my favourite adhesive but it's great for precision ❤
