They use animation and 3d models , not actually filming them, but good job;)
@SyrpLab4 жыл бұрын
Hey Andrei! 100% correct - for a lot of their imagery, they do use 3D models. But some shots arent possible this way or would be far more expensive (water simulations etc). Check out the iPhone 11 Pro video for a couple of their amazing IRL shots

Hi man nice video! I've been trying to figure out which commercials are Apple's IRL and which are 3D so I can practice on them for a while. But I can hardly see the difference .. the thing is that for example Apple makes commercials in 3D for the reveals of iPhones and can also animate all parts out, now this can be done in different software such as cinema 4d, and blender but I wonder how they make it so realistic! Or do they use other programs for that? Can you help me with that?
@SyrpLab4 жыл бұрын
For the 3D stuff to make it realistic it is just about the detail. As an I phone is pretty simple and perfect the realism comes in the tiny details and textures. For example the tiny machining lines and the laminated glass. Its the imperfections that count.

It would be great if you guys could get your product to work with the Timelapse + View Intervalometer again. You make some of the best motion control products on the market for timelapse. To connect via Bluetooth with the Timelapse + View the only requires a firmware update!
@SyrpLab4 жыл бұрын
The original Genie Mini and the old Syrp app do integrate with timelapse + View. With our new techology, basic connectivity works, but syncing together requires additional time to implement and is not currently being developed.
@TrevorMcGrathPhotography4 жыл бұрын
@@SyrpLab Thanks for the reply. I know that the original Mini and app continue to work but that's of no use to customers who purchased version II. As you say it takes time to implement the firmware update, we'll then why not take the time. I'm sure there's a lot of syrp customers including myself that have invested in your product but have now become useless with out a Bluetooth connection for interval ramping. It's not like a hardware problem and the unit has be replaced. It's firmware and I'm sure this can easily be developed with a little bit of work. Time to think of your customers!!!
@SyrpLab4 жыл бұрын
@@TrevorMcGrathPhotography Understand your point completely, it was a bit of a bummer that our new tech didn't have the same compatibility straight away. Unfortunately as with every single update that we do, it's all time that we need to take not only to develop but also to continue to support going forward. There are many requests in the queue from customers and that is certainly one of them that is up there. We are also evaluating it against other features that we will have in the future including our own ability to ramp exposure directly from the device itself. Hope it sheds a bit of light, but for sure we are always listening to our customers!
@TrevorMcGrathPhotography4 жыл бұрын
@@SyrpLab Thanks for coming back with another reply, I respect that. Ramping from within the motion device sounds interesting! I'm not one to keep ranting on so I wish you all the best and look forward to upcoming developments and updates.
