Try this method feeder mix... Half bag of dynamite f1 dark half bag of special g green after it's mixed add handful of 2mm scopex or bannoffe pellets. If you don't catch owt. Throw your gear in and follow it... Boilies to try.. Shimano pineapple and banana.

Still trying to get my head around how that plumbing up works when marking float against the rod unless the floats are the same length? Am I going mad 🤣
@dragonangling11 ай бұрын
Haha, so long as the tip of your float touches the white mark on your rod you’ll be right, just slide the float up or down until it does so, exactly the same as on the pole 👍🏻
@JamesBrown-ko1ic11 ай бұрын
@@dragonangling😱 I'm such a whelk 🤣 cheers mate. I can sleep easy now
@landbk501511 ай бұрын
Hi Mikey, Can I ask why you mark the rod at the top of the float and not the bottom? I would have thought that marking the bottom would allow you to change to different length floats and keep the same depth. What am I missing? Really like your videos. Regards Barry
@dragonangling11 ай бұрын
Hi mate, because the top of the float is is the true depth of the swim, if I marked the bottom of the float then changed to a shorter or longer float it would then be either over or under depth depending of the month of the new float, by marking the depth at the top of the bristle I can Mary up any new float bristle to the same mark and know it’s dead depth

Do you think you would of caught the same on bomb and corn mate?
@dragonangling11 ай бұрын
The Waggler always seems to outfish the bomb and corn, iv had it in matches where I fished the bomb to start not caught picked up the Waggler and it’s been lift off.
@wharfeego11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips. A peaked cap wouldn't go amiss - in fact I can't fish without one. Hook a 🦆🤣

I have no confidence at all in corn, I'm 60 now, been fishing since I was 9 years old, you can count on you're fingers how many fish I've caught on corn, I keep promising my self to have a serious session on corn and try to shake off my demons, but my confidence is so low, I can't bring myself to take just corn, so it gets a customary 15 minutes then I'm back on pellets, maggots etc. maybe this year I'll give it a fair chance.
@dragonangling11 ай бұрын
Hello Alan, any venues that have a lot of carp in it can be deadly especially winter time when the colour drops out the water, have a pleasure day just take 2 tins of corn you’ll love it
@alanoliver537811 ай бұрын
You know what, I've got a few days off end of the month, I might just do that, been working 7 days a week almost since before Xmas, if it's a flop I'll hold you responsible 🤣🤣

Great video Mikeyoooo. It's a "forgotten" method but such a simple & effective one too. I think it first came to prominence a long while ago with Giles Cochrane gaining a lot of success on it and he promoted it, in articles in Match Fishing magazine. Keep up the vids & hints & tips. Power to your elbow.👍
@stevenmoses580711 ай бұрын
Sprinkle chilli powder on the corn the night before. Same goes for red maggots after cleaning them off.. tench love it
