I would recommend that you apply a matt top coat first and cure before applying your watercolour paint 🤍

After you have done your nail art, you can apply a rubber topcoat or you could apply a thin coat of builder gel and then do one coat of top coat.

Hi Jennifer - yes, you will need to ensure each layer us dry before painting another petal. Once the petal turns matt, you are good to do the next one👌🏻🤍

Hi @@NailsbyAmbie - which brand paint and top coat you using? I will recommend that you apply a thin coat of base coat gel polish or rubber base coat first, cure that and then apply your top coat. 🤞🏻 Trust it will work, but please let me know if you still have this problem.🤍

Hi CK, no question is ever a silly question - Im happy to assist. This design is done with watercolour paint and finished off with gloss top coat, but yes you can finish it off with a nail polish top coat as well - I would just recommend you do 2 layers🤍

Hi Lili, the palette Im using is from Nevskaya Palitra - Sonnet 24pan. It is not designed especially for nail art, but it works amazing for it🤍

When painting with the color, it seems very watery and heavy at times, and then it looks like ots so much thinner, are you drying your brush at certain times to soak up the excess color or does it just dry quickly?

Hi there, when the watercolour paint goes matt it means it dried completely. If it smear it means your paint didn't dry properly. Also, if you are sure your paint dried completely and your designs smears,I would recommend that you use more top coat on your brush and use a float painting movement. Hope this helps🤍

Hi Shambhavi , yes you can definitely use it. I recommend Nevskaya Pilitra's Sonnet palette since its high in pigment for best results. Try your out and see how it goes🤍
