TUTORIAL: Improv House Block | 3and3quarters

Learn how to easily piece and sew together an Improvised House Block!
Obviously, this block has no measurements or restrictions in size, so just simply dive into your scrap fabrics and create your very own one-of-a-kind block!

is there anyway to add a chimney on the side??? OK, yes there is lol, but is there an EASY way to do it??? your videos and tutorials are easy to follow. thanks! ☺

+karen wilson Hmm, that's a head scratcher!! I'd possibly replace one of the white rectangles on the sides with a print fabric, then add a triangle to the top and then sew it on to the side as a separate piece... But then that would interfere with the roof triangle bit... Another way could be to improv a chimney (a square and a triangle) into the big white triangle above the roof... But that would be a bit tricky too! I'm really not too sure to be honest - the whole structure of the block would need to be re-considered and design to add a chimney that looks legit and not out of place! Sorry I couldn't really help you out with your great suggestion! Do let me know if you work it out though!! :)

Since it is all wonky, why do you need to pin? I'm usually of the mindset that pinning is when you need to be careful and match certain things.
