Joining the Quilty Tutorials family is the Mini Double Wrench Block - one of my all time favourite blocks to make!
Last year, I made a quilt using this block. I called it 'The Happy Quilt' as everything about it simply made me happy! Check out the video of that quilt here: • The Happy Quilt | 3and...
This design is similar to the Churn-Dash Block and has been taken from the book '130 Mini Quilt Blocks' by Susan Briscoe.
Cutting instructions (just incase you missed it at the start!):
- Cut x2: 2 7/8" Squares from a Solid Fabric
- Cut x2: 2 7/8" Squares from a Print Fabric
- Cut x5: 1.5" Squares from the Solid Fabric
- Cut x4: 1.5" Squares from the Print Fabric
Final block size: 5.5"x5.5"
*HSTs = Half Square Triangles
For all of my sewing I use a Brother Innovis 200QE sewing machine.
