For each Device there is a device description file IODD (IO-Device-Description), which every manufacturer must provide. The corresponding documentation of the IODD or the Device then describes how many process input and/or output data the IO-Link Device supplies or requires.

Can we Coupler to connect two inputs in one port?

Yes, you can connect two digital inputs at one port. Please use a coupler and within configuration you need to set one sensor at Pin4 and one sensor at Pin2.

Hey, If you are using a Siemens 1200, the basic TIA portal would work. With a 1500 you would need the pro version. I hope this answers your question. Regards.
