Absolutely stunning folio, my favourite is anything to do with circles or hexagons. Both would lend themselves to this project! Thank you for sharing.

Would be so lovely with hexies or circles. I actually have a little vintage hexagon book cover that I have a plan to repurpose as a thread holder so standby for that too 🤗 cheers, Christine

Looks lovely. Shell template arrived on the weekend, I’m using already is the sea behind Tori’s Barry the seal 🦭 Barry is supper cute. Had way to much fun cutting the clams out forgot to rewatch your video on how to use so just had fun winging it. Think the sea looks great, still working on Barry. Fun little project it’s like I joined two friends together in stitching.

That’s such a beautiful and practical design. The scallop shell pattern and the pink and green colour scheme is gorgeous - it sort of reminds me of some of the historic rose gardens and formal garden designs in European grand houses and palaces here in Europe. So engaging to watch! (Especially while I’m punishing my eyes by adding sequins to my beetle design!)

Thanks so much - it’s lovely that this evokes that for you. And look forward to seeing the next instalment of embellishment you are doing 🤗

😊😊OMG Woman to be there in person and pick your brain 🧠 for ideas. You are coming up with the most fantastic ideas. I thought i grew up with knowing of stitches, but you keep showing ones I haven't seen before. 😂😂😊😊 Maybe it's a European/Australia thing versus US thing. Any suggestions on a book to bring me more up to date on all these wonderful stitches? 😊😊😊 A flipup page and a bellyband for this book are a perfect idea.❤❤❤😊😊 Love using the Orb ball for embellishment on the bottom of the bellyband. Maybe put a flat dangling charm on the end of the yarn holding the flipup page up. Little Bling for inside. 😊😊 Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration with us. 😊😊

That is too kind! I did a little stitch along last year (for about 6 months) sharing new stitches each day - here is the playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLYFs0nSdIdWxM4WnRxSN-sYhJRi2Iv1Oh&feature=shared

@createandcraftwithchristine Thank you so much. I have this save to my Playlist to keep. I think I'll have to make a little booklet with them in that too. 🙂💗😊

Hello! I am just starting, love folio & your thread pom-pom needle holder. Watching this video & others of yours I believe I can try & start my journey. You’re a wonderful teacher. I want to make a sampler cloth book with all the practice pages. Would cloth pages be treated the same paper pages for the journal, that is the one piece of info I have not found. Do you have a video on that? Your folio is beautiful! Thank you for your inspiration & help. 🌻🌼
@createandcraftwithchristine8 ай бұрын
Hi Michelle - so lovely to have you here and so happy my video has provided some inspiration. You can definitely approach fabric pages in a similar way to a paper journal you are putting together. Just have a think about how thick your pages will be if you’re adding a lots of layers of fabric or embellishment to your pages. You can work with individual pages and back them to each other to hide the stitching on the back or use a ong strip of fabric and then concertina that. Here’s a video where I talk about options for putting a fabric book together: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGGYln93pdafbpYfeature=shared. Cheers, Christine

Seems like you feel about Australia Day as my family feels about Thanksgiving. Why celebrate the invaders, I ask. We celebrate the day by eating foods that my indigenous ancestors would have eaten and ignoring the you-know-what 'pioneers'.
@createandcraftwithchristine8 ай бұрын
Indeed! Love that you recognise your ancestry in that way. Cheers, Christine
