Here is a chatty tutorial for making a creamy emulsified sugar scrub. Emulsified scrubs are great because they leave a lotion-like feel on your skin and don't make a slick mess in your tub/shower.
The scrub in this video is my "Stress Relief" It is a blend of Eucalyptus and Spearmint essential oils. I purchased my sugar from Walmart.
You can purchase carrier oils, butters, beeswax and emulsifying wax from several reputable suppliers on the internet. I personally use Wholesale Supplies Plus, Brambleberry, Nurture Soap, BeScented and Nature's Garden for a majority of my supplies.
Here is the recipe and directions. Happy scrubbing!!
Ingredients:
• 64 oz. Sugar - White Granulated Sugar
• 10 oz. Apricot Oil or Sunflower Oil
• 8 oz. Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
• 5 oz. Shea Butter
• 5 oz. Mango Butter - Refined

• 0.50 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
• 0.70 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF

2. Allow temperature to cool to 100ºF-110ºF and add preservative, Vitamin E, and the fragrances.
3. Add in color until desired shade is reached and mix well.
4. Place in the refrigerator to cool, the consistency should be a thick pudding before adding sugar.
5. Whip mixture with a hand mixer with whisk attachments or a Kitchen-Aid to loosen up the mixture.
6. Slowly add the sugar one cup at a time. Mix a minimum of 32 oz. of granulated sugar and a maximum of 64 oz.

8. Label product accordingly.
