In the very first part of the video when you’re discussing the Home Screen, you have those 3 most important things when you swiped from the apps. They were music, phone and maps. On mine, I don’t have maps, I have recent calls. How do I switch that to maps on that screen?

Go to your phone and search CARPLAY(on iphone) from there, it will show your apps. You can then move, add, or delete how your apps appear on your vehicles screen. Hope this helps.

My '21 Colorado z71 does not have Onstar, nor built in navigation. I'm supposed to be able able to play my phones navigation over to play my phone navigation over the infotainment system, but owners manual does not describe how to accomplish that goal. Nice video!

its and alright video BUT the you show option on the 8 inch screen (IOS code) many of the options you show here are NOT on the 7 inch screen ( IOR code) in my 2020 Chevy Equinox LT i got a 7 inch screen, and i dont have the App, Marketplace, Users or MyChevrolet Icons on the homescreen. so place tell people that it two different systems the 7 inch screen dont come with the all the furtures that the 8 Inch screen does and you cant add Chevy factory Navigation to the 7 inch

Just purchased a 2022 Blazer recently. Whenever driving and listening to music from my USB stick, it greys out the browse button while driving. Is there a way to bypass this and stop that feature? Is there ANY way to select an audio input that is not a phone? I know there is no aux port, but I’ve tried aux-USB cable adapters and the car doesn’t seem to know they are there. I’ve also tried a Bluetooth dongle but the car again doesn’t recognize or pair with anything that’s not a phone. Has anyone figured out a way to play audio through the stereo from something that’s not a phone? (iPod, Walkman, CD player, or in my case I’m trying to plug in my kids’ Yoto player so they can control it and we can all listen together.) I do NOT want my phone involved in this and do not want to be controlling the audio from my phone. Ideas? This is simple and straightforward in every other vehicle I’ve used - you just select the audio source. I can’t find a way to do that anywhere on this Chevy…

@@shelton.nobles I got it figured out myself. I went to a dealership and they wanted to run a diagnostic and Sirius XM or OnStar didn't know anything about the feature. But I figured out how to take the filter off myself it was just an option on the radio, so now I get all my channels! 😊

If you're streaming the music (Spotify, Pandora, etc.) that's probably why it's cutting in & out. Use a USB flash drive if you car supports it.

Don't you like how you never get a response back from the person that post these you tube videos? I too have a 2019 infotainment 3 system, and I have posted this question many times with no answer. Isn't that the reason GM went this route with the infotainment 3 system for easy over the air updates? Instead of buying another new car to get the most up-to-date software, this has been the biggest complaint and I see it hasn't changed.

@@MrKhalibauri The only way to get the all wireless feature which now comes standard on most 2021 chevrolet models is to purchase the module which cost over $700. There is no way for an over the air update to get this feature. This is why everyone is complaining, they bragged about the new infotainment 3 system being able to update over the air but not able to update to go all wireless without spending more money.

I guess she meant reset to factory settings but that seemed drastic and then I would have to program everything on the car. I'm gonna go to dealership next wk because like you I cant live like this and sum1 thr has to know. If I get the answer i will let you know if you figure it out plz let me know. Applecarplay is completely washed out on the screen. The blacks are terrible. No way to dim your brightness on the screen so your Apple CarPlay is really bright washed out at night it lights up your face while driving at night.

Ryux4x4 There is usually a light sensor on the dash (or in headlights) that controls the automatic headlights. When the sensor detects changing light conditions, most cars will dim interior lights to reduce glare. To do this manually every time is tedious. Some cars will even change color schemes. One way to test this is just to turn on headlights manually, and it should activate the night mode dimming.
