YOU ARE A CROCHET GOD/GODDESS!!!!!! I am a beginner with this whole crocheting stuff and when I say beginner I mean " I need something to do with myself, let's go to the craft's store", "This looks easy enough, let's try this." I have looked on U-Tube until my eyes bled. I don't want to hear about nail polish, the history of crocheting, or what is going on with the family or your personal life. I just want to learn. Believe me when I say that the term "beginner" means a lot of different things to people. Your pattern and your instructions where so easy to follow. I loved the music because it kept me calm even if I made a mistake. I would just put you on pause/rewind and take it apart and start over. Thank you Your Highness :)

Hello, I just finished a pair of slippers. It was so easy. :) I used a Bulky 6 Lion Brand yarn in the color FIG. They fit nice and are very warm. I would like to make a pair for my husband. His feet are a bit longer and wider than mine. Should I use the next loom size bigger or just make more rows on the 24 peg loom ? Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorials. I have bookmarked many of them so that I can make other projects later. Take care :)

just a tip: don't wrap your pegs too tight on the knit rows, otherwise it will make the purl row more difficult
@pauldistefano13947 жыл бұрын
how do you not wrap them to tight ?
@elizabethjohnson63867 жыл бұрын
Paul Distefano Paul Distefano I used to pull the yarn tight around the pegs while wrapping when I first started bit it made it very hard to pull the yarn out when you purl the next row. 3:09 where she wraps the yarn around, just make sure to do it loosely, don't pull so hard on the yarn. it doesn't have to be super tight around the peg, just tight enough to not fall off.

Nice work, but why don't you use your (left hand's) free little finger to push down the yarn (the last loop) against that you grasp the needle with another two finger and push down the loop... again and again. You could lift the loop over the head of tap with the needle an your free left little finger can push down the loop under the head of tap toward the base. Try it.

Great tutorial! Do you have any advice on how to adjust the pattern to make it in different sizes?
@evelynvictorymatheny90474 жыл бұрын
To figure out the number of stitches and rows you need in 1 inch, simply divide the listed gauge by four. For instance, a yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches and 24 rows per 4 inches is the same as 4.5 stitches per inch and 6 rows per inch. With these math skills, you’re sure to impress most third graders you know, but it’s okay to use a calculator if you need to. The reason that gauge is so important is simple: Your gauge determines the size of whatever you’re knitting. Stitch gauge (the number of stitches per inch) is more critical than row gauge (the number of rows per inch) because the number of stitches determines the width of the piece. Once you cast on, your width is determined, and you can’t change it without starting over. Row gauge, on the other hand, determines the length of the piece. Matching row gauge precisely is less crucial because you can usually knit a couple more (or a couple less) rows to compensate and get the length you need. source: what-when-how.com/knitting-patterns/calculating-gauge-in-knitting/
