I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial. I could have watched you paint flowers for another hour!! I've spent the better part of the last year building up my palette, and studying color theory and what the pigments mean and color mixing. I'm now practicing doing little sketches with watercolor and layering to get the effect you used in the flowers you did. I'm going to try and practice your flower in my practice watercolor sketchbook. (If that's ok? Definitely subbed to your channel. Kimmie

I'm so grateful for this tutorial! I can't wait to try. What paints do you use and do you mix colors with water on a palette before putting them onto the paper first? (I'll look at your other videos, maybe you told us already 🙂)
@ClariceGomesdesigns6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Coleen. I use White Nights by St Peteresberg and Reeves watercolour. And I normally have a container of water and then something to mix the colours in. If I want the colour to be more opaque, I don't mix it with water. :)

@ClariceGomesdesigns6 жыл бұрын
Hi Dawn. Welcome to watercolour! I'm sure you will love it. Im not sure if I am answering your question, but let me know if I am not. I've used the regular orange along with some orange mixed with whites and some yellow.
