There is not PDF manual in this download. Skymax settings for CSP changed my controller behavior and pause menu.

When you first got the sky filter was the game super bright in the sun and then at night super dark? For me it is and I can’t figure out how to fix

Is it like you can't see anything or just the brightness is more than your previous pp filters? did you take a back up of your folders before making changes? if yes then replace the whole thing with older version, if not....go to the directory and delete ppfilter files only...then try again.

I was very impressed with the detailed PDF and installation instructions that came with S K Y, but sadly my experience wasn't good. Not sure if I am isolated case due to incompatibility with other settings I have in CSP? With a lot of detailed tweaking I'm sure my problems could be corrected. The Neck FX had my dashboard stuck at a 45 degree slant, the vignetting on either side blacks out my two side monitors, and the image was blurred. I was disappointed and had to revert back to previous Sol and Pure configs. Even without these problems, looking at the comparison you did, personally I would stick with your Pure filters. A lot depends on the colour temperature each users monitors are set at, the ambient light temperature, and personal preferences, so it might be an improvement for some viewers whose images are synthetically bright.

Hi Sir Spats, Great video again. Just a quick question, since using the new Sol, CSP etc, some car mirrors are acting strange. One mirror is clear but the other side looks like the exposure is too high. Also the rear view dash screen on the Ferrari GT3 (Kunos) is the same. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks, my issue with the grey/blank Pure Config tab was due to the weather script reverting back to Sol. Just set the Weather FX, Extension: controller script to Sol 2.2, and weather script to Pure.

Hi there! Thank you so much for the Tutorial I will try it out once I have everything ready. I just bought my first sim rig the fanatec CSL and now I want to prepare everything until it arrives. I basically just want to have great graphics and great sound everything else I would figure out on the go I guess. What settings are used for the reflections. It’s not rain, the sun is out and car is dry. Do you just have Puddles on?

Hello Mr. 🙂 I also use AC in full beauty with SOL, Pure, CSP etc. The only thing I don't get "nice" are the sparks and when wet the water forms around the tire. Both look to me like small blocks of wood - totally unrealistic. In addition, they sometimes move away from the car against the centrifugal forces. Can you give me a tip on how to adjust it so that it looks as good as yours in the video? Specifically those two things. Many thanks and greetings, Knut

@@SirSpatsGaming I managed to get it fixed. I don't entirely know what was wrong but I reset everything and made sure everything was right. I think mine did start in SKYGT on the preset or maybe I clicked the wrong one but I think when I switched it back it fixed the blurriness.

Not really. Remember you can change reflections and resolution which are the biggest impact to FPS. The beauty of these is that you can scale it to what your PC can handle

My only criticism its too sharp, almost artificial. People seem to have become obsessed with over-sharpness in the last few years, making all games look artificial. With Lower resolution and a natural film like softness mixed with high AA would be incredible looking. Or Ultimate realism would be DSR where you can Render in 4k Higher Fidelity, but output 1080 or 1280 at 8x AA. But at the extreme clarity it will never look photo real, as its unnatural or uncomfortable to the eye. like inexpensive 4k video cameras always look Worse, Cartoonish lol But the mods Looks great, these modders are surpassing AAA game DEVs at this point. Well surpassing the teenage kid fresh out of college who actually make the Games lol

no matter how many "realistic" mods assetto gets it still does look that amazing, but it is an old game now. if you compare it next to gt7 or even forza motorsport it stilll looks veryt outdated,. but it is one of the best driving sims out there if not the best. i cant wait for assetto corsa 2 in unreal 5. that is goin to look stunning indeed.
