If yall are struggling with superduper slow speeds (like 16 hours long) when transferring and copying files remember to unzip the files with 7zip. Was probably mentioned in the video but it took my dumbass a couple of hours to realize. Other than that amazing guide 🗣🔥

For those having issues with the Weather using PURE, make sure to update to the latest UNTESTED CSP version, I went with the recommended one like I assume most of you did. This solved my issue!

Stupid me manged to delete all(!) mods via fresh steam install and since I forgot how to install this which was like ages ago I'm glad you helped me across the street ;) One thing tho: Last SOL step in the Drive menu I have no 'contrllers' opt in the weather tab. Just: RANDOM ORIGINAL BY TYPE SOL and MODS (which appears to be identical to SOL). Did I miss s.th.? Ignore? EDIT: Nevermind, I'm just dumb :)

@@gabrielbocanegra8859 Not sure to be honest. After some tinkering with other stuff in CM and then returning to the 'DRIVE' page it was just there. Maybe a CM restart? Sorry I can't be more specific. EDIT: Only thing I remember is switching CSP from 'recommended' to a more recent 2.X version.

Hey bud, I really hate to bother you as I’m sure you’re very busy. However, I am having a problem, moving the soul files and dropping them into a settle course of file manager. When I do that, it takes about 10 minutes to move one percent. My computer is fast 12 General nine processor 3080 graphics card. But for some reason, I can’t bring the soul files over any advice? No worries! This seems to happen for a few people but I'm not quite sure what causes it yet. It seems to help if you just extract the whole mod first to somewhere like your desktop or downloads folder, and then you should be able to move everything you need over to the Assetto Corsa folder much faster.

i followed everything up until where you put the sol into the asetto corsa root folder, the only folder i can find is the desktop asseto corsa, but it doesnt allow me to slide the 4 components into it, and if i click on it, it just opens up the game, is there anyway to install it inside of the content manager instead?

Which one are you using? Make sure you have "enable python apps" checked & make sure you're using the right weather style and that your controller is set to the right mod. Other than that you can open the python apps debug window and see if it's throwing any errors, but definitely check those top suggestions first.

9:15 after enabling sol in the weather fx tab etc, I dont get the controller option in the drive menu. Am I missing something here? The sky is also black when I load in. Right now it says I have the 0.8.2663.39678 (x86) version of CM installed with the 0.2.4 shaders patch (although its not working properly with all of the shaders patches below, including the 0.1.79 recommended one. Edit: I redownloaded sol and it seems to have worked.

Guys, is the extended physics checkbox better to keep it active for all cars or not? I noticed that with the extended physics the lap times drop slightly and the ffb clips more easily

Ultimately up to you and what mods you use the most. Some old mods can break with it on, but other newer mods make great use of it. I leave it on personally and only disable it in specific cases.

Most likely accidentally copied the folders inside another folder? Make sure you're dragging them directly into the root folder (release the click in the blank space, not over another folder). If you did it right, the apps, content, extension and system folders will all highlight when its done copying (like you see at 10:50)

seem to have a weird issue with my content manager, for a few months now its just removed the ability for me to drag and drop zip files into CM to install mods

@@HokiHoshi i do, but right after i posted my comment i realised ive never bothered to try look up the issue and the fix that worked for me was to uncheck run as administrator in the programs properties, then open CM and uncheck, then recheck 7zip in plugins and all of a sudden drag and drop is working lmao
