Thank you for your videos. One thing that was missing in this one was the suggestion of what might be the first/best thing to try to get at The Blaster's engineering base. In Felicity's video, you did suggest increased FSJ range. This helped me A Lot. I am watching lots of videos and still don't have a great understanding of what to engineer. For example, i've looked and looked for some idea of what the "first 3 things" that would make the biggest differences to engineer for people just starting to try engineering. Thanks again :-)

Depending on your ship i suggest using a warrant scanner first once bad guy is validated you will want to pic an area with medium or high mineral extraction wait to see if theres local cops or clean mobs about engaging enemies. wait till their at least down to 60% then fire on them. be prepared to get aggro or fire a few rounds and let the cops get them down to 20% then let them have it they should explode and you will get the bounty as long as you scored enough hits .

Any Nav Beacon will have baddies to take down. Might not be beginner level, just make sure you have police help and pip your systems. That means you can hunt in Tod's system just fine. I completed the bounties with just my viper mk3.

I don't understand ... I've done way more than 15 bounties, and when I look on the Engineers screen under Tod McQuinn it says "Bounties Claimed ... Current 15/15", but it never moves on to the next step. I don't get an invitation to visit his base.

So I went to a resource extraction site in Wolf 363 like you suggested, I got a 129k bounty (by wolf 363 progressive party) and then flew to McQuinn, who wont accept it at all... Nice tutorial?

Wolf 363 is now a Federation system (it wasn't when this video was made),, you want an Alliance system. Open your Galaxy map and set your route to Wolf 397, then Map > Map View Config > then select Allegiance from the drop down list and uncheck everything except Alliance. Now all the Alliance owned systems should show up as green dots (they're green dots on my system), select the one closest to Wolf 397 that has a lot of people ( maybe 5 million+?) and go to town.

No engineer experience is gained from any engineer if you do "remote workshop" - only face to face. Some engineers get "xp" for doing other stuff but the quantity seems low or broken...

BUGGED ? i got invite i landed on base on the planet and says i got 0 out of 100000. i reloged. atm i have my fighter being shipped up here so i can go get some more and hope it works. i kind of lost on what to do at this point

I've tried going there 3 times now with well over a mil in bounty vouchers and it won't let me donate them. Different vouchers each time.

it has to be federation owned, or redeemable in tods system

I left my cobra in my "home" system where I wanna get a Diamondback explorer to learn void farming, but lmao wanted to soft start an engineer, crew member, and 1 rank grind. Ooh boy I been in my "last hitting" adder of 10 ly FSJ and I'm gonna buy a new ship to get him tonight. I realize a 30 FSJ ship would make more sense..in hindsight. :)

@Jesteria78 forreal so much better to buy your cheap 1st explorer/high jump ship, can be pretty vanilla save for FSD, power, thrusters, prolllly shields, and das it. Even a 20 FSJ range can make the trip. Then store the traveler at Todd's system, buy easy last hitting ship, farm resource extraction last hits. If you're clever you can get 100k + off 1-2 ships if you're careful in high risk zones. I do it in an adder, cheap and ez.
