Eric, is it possible to do this the other way around? Let’s say I wanna do my inking and coloring on Procreate, and THEN move it to Comic Draw to edit lettering and such. I’ve tried, but Procreate does not show Comic Draw in the “send” options. Thanks :)

Hello, Eric. I see you have Affinity Photo in your iPad, have you tried to make a comic using just that app? I mean, could it be faster/better using just one app instead of two? O do you think Photo is not as practical/intuitive as these apps? Great video, by the way. We're still hoping to see something else around here. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for this super helpful video, Eric. Is the text still editable after it's exported as a Psd format and imported by ProCreate, or do any future text changes need to be made back in ComicDraw? Thx!

This was EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you so much. I have a question if you're still monitoring this: what format do you use to export your files to get crisp images in print? My experience so far shows me that the Procreate raster files need to be converted to vector files, but I haven't yet tried this.

This was very useful. Thanks. I’ve been tinkering with Comic Draw and it has a lot of potential. How does one import an existing graphic into Comic Draw?

Awesome vid. I did my lettering in comic draw then painted and such in procreate. Found a typo though so how do I get it back into an editable mode back into comic draw to correct the typo?

thanks for the information! I'm trying comicdraw but had already created a scene for a panel in procreate; nice to see I can work them together. BTW just something I noticed in your page for Planet Crusher - it would be 'I have traveled for a millennium' - millennia is plural. Cheers!

I've struggled forever with all this & still do. My problem is that I created characters I like in Procreate but when I paste them into C.D. to access the great speech balloons etc. - it's crazy hard to size them, place them, etc. (my characters). Guess I should dump all the work & start from scratch in C.D., but aside from those great features I mentioned (lettering, balloons, panels, captions, etc) the rest of the C.D. program is NOT intuitive (to me)... I wind up with all kinds of layers I didn't create, etc. ...Oh, well.. Gotta keep trying things, I guess.

I appreciate this, it sounds like the Comic Draw/Procreate combination might make a good process for creating comics. Out of curiosity, do you think you could follow the same process and bring I it back to Comic Draw for it's publishing capabilities? Thanks for your time, God bless and Happy Easter:-)

Eric Merced I guess you’d have to leave off the panel borders and word bubbles/captions, flatten the image and export it as a jpeg, and bring it back in as a color layer in Comic Draw. At least the speech bubbles and borders would still be a guide in Procreate. God bless :-)

Thanks for another great video! One question I had while watching ... if you start the comic in Comic Draw, then color in Procreate, could you still edit the text if you needed to send it back to Comic Draw to edit something you already typed out?
@TheDavidWWright6 жыл бұрын
Ah, that IS a good idea! Thanks.
