For a drum that will be really helpful - if everything's squared up, it's much easier to get a good finish

Thank you Katie, brilliant as ever. Like @DeeAZstitcher above, I also wanted to ask if you had any tips for over dyed floss and linen. Thank you

Thank you! I don't - they're not really things I use and I can only speak to what I know.

Katie...love your videos. I have city water so would it be best to use distilled water for blocking ? Thank you. You do beautiful and amazing projects.....love them all.

Basically, whatever you would drink is what you should be using for your needlework. I generally use tap water myself, but have pretty good water quality.

Thank you for this tutorial! I heard you were going to add interfacing. What kind do you use? thx

Pellon P44F, as recommended by Vonna - there's no better guide to all things finishing!

Your stitching is Perfect!!! Cold water in the spray bottle is just tap water, correct? Good tips, and running the water through vs soaking the piece. Any suggestions for overdyed linens & floss when wet blocking can't be done? TY
@katiestrachanembroidery2 ай бұрын
Yes - if you would drink the water out of the faucet, then it's fine for your needlework. But no, I don't have suggestions for overdyes as I only use color stable materials.
