I dont think you pump enough times. As for me. I am using Roundup 190474 Multi-Purpose Sprayer (2 Gallons.) and it works great on my 2018 Honda Fit EX. Was able to wet the whole car top to bottom and the rims. I think I fill it up to 1 and half gallons.

Hello mate the car is practically clean before u started washing it and i tried on a dirty car and it doesn't work it leaves marks everywhere don't try

Hey Ryan! This car wasn't muddy by any means, if its incredibly dirty, you would have to get much more pressure and much more water. This method is for cleaning light dirt where you dont have access to a hose.

Sometimes that works best I did that for awhile until I found a wash that wasn’t harmful to my paint

Why does it need "power" just to cover the car in cold water and rinse the loose dirt? you clean with the cloth elbow grease and shampoo!

You want to reduce the amount of dirt particles on the surface as you want to minimize as much scratching as possible

Locking the handle is not required. It serves no purpose and unlocking is an extra step every time you have to pump. Just sayin'
