On the contrary, the car has not been driven for three years, therefore it's not mechanical abused 😉
@antonisautos8704
@antonisautos8704 4 жыл бұрын
The car hasn't been driven for 3 years which means it will have a host of mechanical things to be repaired or serviced. Pil change coolant change battery needs to be replaced bad gas in the tank. Possible corrosion in the fuel lines (ethanol in the fuel attracts water) brake fluid probably needs to be flushed. Brake rotors are probably severely pitted and need replacing... who knows what them suspension bushings look like... there could have been rodents living inside the engine bay and chewed wires... the longer a car sits the worse it is.

@@antonisautos8704 you correct, but you describing a car that's been standing a lot longer in very bad conditions ... This car has most likely been in a storage facility for cars . I.e: all the algae?
@pedrosilvaproductions

@@antonisautos8704 all that besides suspension is just a regular revision of a car that should be made every year anyway: changing coolant, oil, brakes etc. And the battery. If you know what you re doing it'll cost you like 200/300 bucks to fix, not really a problem

@@neilgouws6962 it's been sitting under a tree ie all the leaves and mold from said tree. That's what a car looks like after sitting under a tree for awhile. Had to make sure I wasnt the only one. I used to be a detailer, and no matter what type of service they are doing you keep the water out of the trunk. You learn very quickly to have standards in place like that will save you with muscle memory in the long run, which (hopefully) by then you'll be working on nicer cars that do actually matter what happens with the trunk. It saves a bunch of hassle to be smooth with that spray tech 😉

I don't know man, I'd go extra steps in cleaning a car that's been sitting for years and that has that much mold. You cleaned it nicely on the outside but I'd go extra step and remove weather strips and other rubber to clean the area underneath that. Next, after done cleaning, I'd focus on the interior, get an ozone generator, a steam cleaner, and an extractor and do a pass on the entire interior, especially the seats and carpet. After that clay bar the entire car, polish it and protect it with silicone and UV protectant. After all that I'd add put some nice smelling car perfume to compliment the overall look of the car. That's just how I would do the job.

The things that I'm seeing different are so very minimal... But to see the difference between you guys when you released this video and you guys as of now... The differences are just... Amazing. 👏👏👏👏 So proud of you.

The real question is Does the Engine even exist? 10 years standing still man I guess it’s dead from the inside.

The people commenting on here giving advice crack me up. I bet 95% of them don't even detail vehicles.

And, skipping ozone generator, steam cleaner, extractor, clay bar and protectant procedures is totally okay?? C'mon man, polishing the vehicle before passing it with a clay bar damages the paint. Leaving interior almost untouched will just introduce more mold and crap down the road. Also, skipping UV and silicone protection won't do any good long term. Now, you could also wax the car and that's another bonus. I worked at a car wash for two and a half years, and we also did detailing. Trust me, I know what the hell I'm talking about.

Is the water from the pressure washer cold or hot? You should be wearing gloves at all times when detailing, particularly in this one, since mold is no joke...(maybe even a mask). Great work, though! ;)

Sofy R_R I agree, mold gave me some type of lung issue called histoplasmosis. So I wear a mask all the time when I detail😂

just found this channel and its already my new favorite detailing channel. the one thing that annoys me about other channels is the quiet audio then loud annoying music. your great tho such a soothing voice and peaceful music, exactly the reason i watch these types of videos. :)
