Thnxc sir g.. Butbin reverse bias initially current increase with increasing voltage... But when we increase Voltage further then depletion region increased and it becomes insolator then current become zero and.... Help any one if it will possible
@mayankchandwal792
@mayankchandwal792 4 жыл бұрын
Because in reverse bias the current is due to minority charge carriers whose concentration is about 1ppm .Initially the current increases and then it becomes constant at a avalanche voltage due to an ionisation of minority charge carriers there is an abrupt increase in current due to an increase in concentration of charge carriers. I hope this will help you .

How barrier width become constant in reverse biasing in order to create a high electric field
@sattwamabasu2737
@sattwamabasu2737 4 жыл бұрын
Barrier width is the distance between two oppsitely charged plates as in capacitor .In this case barrier width is the width between p and n sides .It can extend upto a certain limit ,i.e. , the length of the diode . E(electric field)= V(voltage across the two points in thr circuit)/ d(barrier width) Since with the increase of voltage the barrier width increases ( as neutralised atoms add up to the potential wall) the ratio of V to d remains constant and hence E reamins constant.😀

e.f= v multiply d in reverse biasing the depletion layer widens hence d(distance) increases thus electric field increase.

Sir what is negative voltage what is the meaning
@sattwamabasu2737
@sattwamabasu2737 4 жыл бұрын
If we consider the voltage in case of forward bias positive , the voltage in case of reverse bias is in the opposite direction and hence we consider it to be negative .The + or - sign denotes the direction of potential .
