If you tutor on Outschool what’s your top tip for newbies?

I’m only charging $25 for 25 minutes. I have 10 tutoring students right now. I’m thinking about raising my prices some!

This was so helpful, Alejandra! Does it seem that lots of parents will pay $40 for 30, as this is what I would be seeking also? How many students would you say that you tutor each week. I am off to re-watch to absorb more!🤗

Yes, when I first listed my tutoring class the price was $40 and I have many families willing to pay that price. On Outschool I usually have about 10-15 tutoring students a week. Have you started tutoring yet?

@@teachwithalejandra I just re-posted my Tutoring class again today. I did have to copy and make a new one, as the old one was a one-time and I went ongoing (like you!) this time. I actually published 4 classes today! I created an announcement of all new classes and posted it to each of my classrooms on the schedule. I had one current student sign-up for a new class within 30 minutes!!👏Fingers-crossed!

Do you continue to keep your classes posted after you use it to tutor ?

Yes I try to keep at least one tutoring class open so Outschool can continue to advertise my courses
