The girl is telling the truth...the English module 2 was so hard I couldn't even understand what I was reading...too many passages with confusing words to understand oh my God
@djd__9986 ай бұрын
For me math module 2's last two problems were noticeably harder than the rest rather than being easier, also I found english module 2 fair. Coming from someone who took it in March and May
@jillybrownie23906 ай бұрын
I may be an idiot of course, but the moment I saw the questions in second module of english, I thought I was going to cry. It was SO bad, I didn't even know it could be that bad. I could know what all the words meant, or at least most of them, and they still didn't make sense in the sentence they were used for me, and I don't know why. That, or more than one made sense, which shouldn't be like that in the SAT. I was really hoping for a good grade, too ;-;

Same the vocab was so complex for the first half, and for the other half the passages were understandable but the answers had nothing to do with what I read. IT WAS HORRIBLE

In my practice tests, I usually prefer to finish off the harder questions (which are usually at the end of each module) first before I do the easier ones (before y'all come at me, I find them easier to do when I'm not under time-pressure). But when I took the actual SAT in May, the harder ones were somewhere in the middle, and I found it really hard to finish on time. I was forced to guess a few answers just for the sake of attending them.

In turn is a transition used to indicate sequence. A recent sentence I worked upon- Paleoclimatologist Tanguy Racine of the University of Innsbruck spends much of his time underground in caves picking out twigs and pine needles from melting ice. The information he retrieves from carbon dating these small objects gives valuable information about the formation, waxing, and waning of the ice. *In turn*, he can tease out details about the changes in the climate over hundreds of years.

Thanks Puneet!! Leave it to our fellow team tutor to rock this out!! 🙌🏻

In turn is a sequence: The recess was extremely short with many students waiting to play. The only way to avoid chaos was to have each player go to the plate in turn. (Not a great sentence lol)

@@gianaloi7342Well I know I didn't answer I think 4 of those last student produced responses, and didn't feel good about some others- so maybe 6 wrong total, a little optimistically. I know for sure I had the hard second module too. I got a 740 which is my highest score (I took the paper one twice)

Remember, test takers get random questions from the bank. People are getting different combinations of questions, even on the same test being taken in the same room on the same date

I gotta say though, the May trial was much more easier than the previous March trial I took. Still, I did get confused in the 2nd module in the English section, so Emily's right.

I found the May math module 2 extremely hard. I am a tutor in Philadelphia, and I scored 800 and 790 on tests 5 and 6. The last few questions on the May test really chewed up the clock and I had to guess on at least 3 questions (which is very unusual for me.) I found Reading/writing to be very similar in difficulty to the college board practice tests.
@jasonkishore34006 ай бұрын
Did pretty well on the paper sat 800m and 720rw, and took this test for some tutoring I’m doing. IMO the math is significantly harder, I couldn’t even finish the math module 2.

Glad to hear someone else thinks that too! Module 2 for math whooped me. I usually never run out of time, but that 2nd part had me racing the clock fr 😭
@odabashian226 ай бұрын
vocatulary was quite easy. The chart (quantitative evidence) questions were challenging, but doable. The math was unnecessarily difficult. Instead of just testing one difficult concept, questions often fused together 2 or 3 difficult concepts.

My sister went from an 23 act to a 33 act, obviously sat is different, but the same concept applies. What she said she did to get a higher score was to planned her study sessions, which means she studied alone but kept accountable to herself. She study everyday for at least an hour because the higher the score you want the more you have to study. She also took practice tests and timed herself as if she were taking the real thing and she said don’t keep going over stuff you even if it’s easy, but go over the stuff you’re having difficulty with the most even if it’s not as comfortable. She also said she signed up for an exam that was 2-3 months away so she could properly study and not cram stuff last minute. She also did this thing where on the morning of the exam she took a cold shower to wake up her mind to be prepared, hope that helps.
@JeremiahRodriguez-gi4mu6 ай бұрын
Don’t keep going over stuff you know*; If you’re even wanting to get a better score in the first place that shows that you’re a mindful person caring about your test scores and wanting to go to a good college and have a good future, hope all the best if you take the sat again 👏

You need to BINGE Strategic Test Prep videos. They really do tell you everything you need to know. Watch their "Tips" videos first and then watch them go through the practice test. Take notes all the way through. THEN use the college board question bank and take the practice tests by yourself.
