Never to late to learn, computational thinking!

I am learning now to program with over 50 years, and I didnt understand a lot of expressions, because I am not much into that computer thing.... . You just put all my fears of computers and programing away. opened my mind for it. You are really a heaven sent teacher for humanity in multidimensional ways.

So honoured to listen to you in India It felt like i was in that room ...! Even this is possible because of machine learning and programming that i can watch such amazing personality talk about such stuff on my mobile . Thankyou for the information!

I have a Masters and PhD in Mathematics, a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering (BChE) with a Minor in Russian, and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology. And I am simply incapable of programming. I have struggled with computer programming for 40 years and can do even less programming than when I took my first computer programming course in community college: FORTRAN in 1981. The only language I even remotely care to attempt is Python. I absolutely LOVE doing math. Math, math, math. All types of math: mathematical modeling, computation. But GOD I hate programming.

I love programming, makes me feel special. But sadly in few years, Natural language Programming would replace almost everything. So that is something to look for.

Thank you for putting a name (CT) to how my brain has always worked. My first employer at 15 yo, the Commonwealth Bank Head Office moved me to the mail room to punish me for "not fitting in" .Whilst there, i greatly increased the speed of franking letters by ignoring the instructions on the franking machine and decreasing the gap between envelopes and fanning them into a staggered stack, others working with me adopted my technique - the year was 1961. The bank refused to transfer me to the Data Processing Department. I left and got a job with a cash register company, finally I was in the right industry for me, BTW so far so good. I will read the 3 pager over a cup of tea. BTW, the lady with the mic. needs to be more active OR why not get a few more microphones? The announcer chastizing the audience "to speak into the microphone" Was wrong, the problem was obviously elsewhere!

When I proposed a solution to my directors in a consultancy firm, they laughed at me and said that the government officers would shoot down the proposal right away. Ironically, the same thing has been implemented after 10 years since I said it. BRAVO! You're not the only one, brother! We are a tribe!

17:24 and 25:00 it was all said, definition of what it is, and what classes (concepts) you can learn to expand your computational thinking, which is presenting problems *and its solution in a way computer *or human can effectively solve...
