i think power button and prepaid feature on that application is good feature...the main problem is that you don't have any backup/battery power on your internet router/modem so where when you used that feature it will cut power also on your router...so make sure you have power backup on your internet router/modem...CMIIW

Maybe I was not clear enough about what I was complaining. The problem is that you can't override from the unit itself the prepaid feature. If it would have a key combination to restart it, at least for a few minutes to change the prepaid value from the app, you would not need backup or battery power. But, now that I'm thinking about it, battery power is not even enough, you would need something to keep the router going for weeks, to be absolutely sure you don't end up in the same situation I did. So, it would only be ok if the router would be powered before the circuit that this breaks.

I also wished they had an option to disable the power button. If you press the button before you enter the device, you can press it off with a single click (it doesn't ask you like when you enter the device page). Does this also measure cumulative power? I have the power meter variant. It shows me total KW instead of instantaneous power. I wish it would show both, instead of current ;-)

I don't have a power button anywhere alse, only in the app. Mine measures instant power and shows it as Active Power in kW.

I had the same issue thing with the expense prepaid, needed to disconnect it again and try it out inside my home

it is for restrict your electricity usage. Like you wanted to stop using your electricity after 200/100 / etc.. Units. Just stop the option if you don’t want it. Though it is a Very neddy option for many people.

You did not get it. It's close to impossible to reactivate the unit once that triggers. Just watch my video again to undrstand it. The option is really good for who needs it, but an override should exist on the unit itself, not only in software.

I've mistakenly turned on the prepaid and went to the extent of removing the device from the system assuming it's faulty. We don't have a prepaid system in my country. Also was wondering why not a postpaid bill value calculator

Can we put a limit on the kWh Units Consumed? for example we set a litmit of 150 kWh energy usage. So once we consume 150 kWh, the Switch turns Off automatically

@@UltimateDIY yeah it is, only issue it doesnt have the terminals wide enough for a mk unit. but managed to get higher gauge wiring to make it all connect

Testeaza dar la mine daca deconectez si pica netul,apas comanda de conectare si cand s a conectat la net ,porneste tensiunea,deci are un fel de memorare. Testeaza,al meu e de 63A

Daca ii pica netul nici ca nu isi mai revine.Trebui resetat manual ca la prima pornire.Gresesc eu undeva de se dezactiveaza si nu se mai activeaza automat Desi el inregistreaza nu mai arata in aplicatia Tuya iar cand il resetez din butonul wifi calculeaza consumul de unde a rămas pana la reconectare.Are functie cumva de reconectare automata cand revine net si nu stiu eu sau care este problema ?

@@carlos_sacalulNu am gasit nimic de conectat in setări insa la mine problema este săptămânală.Asta a fost banuiala mea ca daca ii pica net-ul nu se mai reconecteaza.Oare sa fie altceva ? In rplicatie imi apare contor electric (așa l-am numit )dezactivat.Intru in aplicație si imi cere activarea bloothoot si reinregistrare dispozitiv.Pasi ce ii fac la fiecare conectare.El inregistreaza consumul in dispozitiv iar in Tuia nimic.La reconectare imi afiseaza in aplicatie tot consumul de la dezactivare până la reactivare .

Si la mine se reconecteaza automat. Dar...am avut un router la care unele device-uri nu se reconectau cum trebuie singure. Deci e posibil sa fie si ceva de genul.

Thanks for your quick reponse! One more question if you let me: if you do not need to connect remotely to the breaker, and only need to connect to it at home, does it connect to your phone thru "wi-fi direct"?

Never tested that, but you can create a hotspot with your phone and connect it trough that for sure.
