It's not a hard limit, it just changes the price of all the electricity you consumed that month. Starting middle of this year the limit will dissapear and all electricity will be more expensive directly 😵‍💫

I've mistakenly turned on the prepaid and went to the extent of removing the device from the system assuming it's faulty. We don't have a prepaid system in my country. Also was wondering why not a postpaid bill value calculator

I also wished they had an option to disable the power button. If you press the button before you enter the device, you can press it off with a single click (it doesn't ask you like when you enter the device page). Does this also measure cumulative power? I have the power meter variant. It shows me total KW instead of instantaneous power. I wish it would show both, instead of current ;-)

I don't have a power button anywhere alse, only in the app. Mine measures instant power and shows it as Active Power in kW.

i think power button and prepaid feature on that application is good feature...the main problem is that you don't have any backup/battery power on your internet router/modem so where when you used that feature it will cut power also on your router...so make sure you have power backup on your internet router/modem...CMIIW

Maybe I was not clear enough about what I was complaining. The problem is that you can't override from the unit itself the prepaid feature. If it would have a key combination to restart it, at least for a few minutes to change the prepaid value from the app, you would not need backup or battery power. But, now that I'm thinking about it, battery power is not even enough, you would need something to keep the router going for weeks, to be absolutely sure you don't end up in the same situation I did. So, it would only be ok if the router would be powered before the circuit that this breaks.

it is for restrict your electricity usage. Like you wanted to stop using your electricity after 200/100 / etc.. Units. Just stop the option if you don’t want it. Though it is a Very neddy option for many people.

You did not get it. It's close to impossible to reactivate the unit once that triggers. Just watch my video again to undrstand it. The option is really good for who needs it, but an override should exist on the unit itself, not only in software.

You can reset by using remove device and wipe data feature but the only thing that wont reset would be Total KWH reading - However you can set a new KWH reading on the device by pressing power button and stopping at 0.0 KWH

Maybe you made the same mistake as I made and you activared prepay mode without setting a value bigger than 0. Or maybe you set aome other protection at a level that gets directly triggered.
