Hi My name is Alex . I just like to share my recent experience with u guys. I came to this channel because it was something deferent. Something that we all needed. Basic knowledge, Basic understanding, learning, and everything in the real time with real everyday problems. And have fan by learning and fixing . I m like u. Old school. Back in time we where fixing the black and white TV, amplifier, etc... I really enjoyed watching r videos . How u explain thinks etc.... Learning and enjoying the repairs . But unfortunately I had to realise that this channel is not like it was before . Maybe is to big now or I don't know . But is not anymore about learning and have fan . Now to much clever people are. They tell u how to do or don't do the things. Even r server where people should come together and help each another . Now if someone need help they tell him to do this and this, check voltage here and here , they ask for schematic, etc.. and poor guy he don't know how to do it . What they do they tell him to Fu...off . Your clever people just tell people off if they don't know something or they can't read schematic. This is disgusting. U should tell r dogs to back up a little. Anyway .. the point is u don't care about learning and have fan here . Now even u are afraid to do the repair by r way . Because u care about what this clever people will say to u . This is not that channel any more . Disappointed. Thanks for reading this guys. ..

Sorin sir. Because of you I started taking repair jobs. Earlier I used to tell the customer that the part (smps, motherboard) is faulty and you need to change. But now I repair them. I have zero knowledge of electronics but still I managed to repair 2 boards and 1 supply all because of you. Thanks a ton to you and Northridge fix. I am subscriber of both. Great respect to you both sir. 🙏🙏🙏👍

I check every day for your uploads I have a small electronics repair business in Tasmania your utube uploads always brighten my day. Some suggestions re opening the Apple speaker, instead of using a soldering iron to open it how about a Dermal with a cutting wheal on it I think that it could have even saved time. You mention that you want a thermal camera I use a poor mans one its one of those units that have a laser pointer on it and just probe around especially helpful on small things. I do remember seeing someone had an attachment that you could put on a phone camera don't know if they are still available. In the past before hot glue i used to use super glue, crazy glue, what ever it is called when joining plastics together i would put the super glue on both bits and then sprinkle baking soda over it sometimes another drop of glue on it, it worked great on some jobs.

Sorin my old friend. I suggested to you that a 0.5mm tip of a bit can only deliver a certain amount of heat. You suggested. That heat from the tip, of the bit was being dragged off. I needed a Buffer, is what you called it. It is not the temp, of the bit, but how much heat it can supply Constantly. That really matters. Lots of Copper. To retain that heat . jeffoldbean.

hey Sorin, there is somthing wrong with the station of your hakko. I work with this tips every time and they have good power. i only use cheepest tips from china, 3€ the tip. My station is a cheap KSGER T12 station from aliexpress. I am a pro in berlin, germany. Thank you for your work, for your videos. I learnd a lot about hot glue and diagnose. I wish you all the best.

How is it going to work for hakko if you are using an inappropriate tip for the job? Longer tips have a bigger thermal delay from the point of the tip to the sensor. Are you sure you are using hakko original iron? Because the ripoffs have a less power heater inside. So if you are using ripoff tips on an original station you have a bigger resistor on the heater.

Hello , from where I download the driver after the format on hp , after restarting it writes avtomatik repair , then diagnostics it . A blue window comes up because it cannot repair , restart and it says advanced . I tried running it in safe mode from the advanced options , it gave an error again , so if this happens you have to reformat it . but you format it again when you install the driver , I found a way but it is not a solution . I was removing the hard disk or ssd and connecting it to another computer with usb to sata and I was starting the computer with it and plugging it into the computer that was failing again , then the laptop would boot up . Why is this happening? It only happens in HP brands. I became an apprentice in a mechanic for 1 month, I was getting nervous. Please inform me, I know I took so long, sorry for the long haul.

Hey Sorin, maybe you could contact Hakko UK so they can verify if you have a genuine unit and if it's working properly. I've heard Hakko's menu is very complicated so maybe you did some wrong step and they can help you. Your model is very popular on the internet, it's sad you're so disappointed.
