TV DX, E-skip reception of Newfoundland TV in Montreal QC

Reception of Newfoundland TV stations CJCN-4 (892 miles) and tentative CBNT24-4 (851 miles) on June 20, 2003 between 00:30 and 01:30 EDT. NTV and CBC fighting for supremacy on channel 4! The summer of 2003 was one of the most exciting DX wise in this part of the world with continuous overnight E-skip activity sometimes four - five nights in a row.

Still with the famous NTSC, a.k.a. Never Twice the Same Color. It's nice to see how a NTSC TV station acts during Sporadic E. 5* from me! :)

In the States, we called it Not the same color. Still analog skip is good to watch. Furthest I got was a Venezuela tv station, in NH. I read southeast Canada did as well. My first digital dx was on rabbit ears from Rock Island Illinois. 3 days after the US changeover.

actually, since most stations are out of lo-vhf, you're going to get more there from mexico/canada - plus, there's a few more days on some nightlights :P
