No wonder I have fallen in love with Bruce! When he gave that lady sweet, gentle kisses, it stole my heart! I lost my English Bulldog 1 1/2 years ago, and although I have had dogs (primarily large dogs) my entire life, losing Darla so suddenly at nearly 6 was and is still devastating. Even though less than a month earlier I had my vet tell me she was the best cared for Bully she had seen, which made it doubly bad. Bruce and the breeder from Gargoyle Kennels-1st108thairborne-have gotten me cheered up a bit and considering a pup again. I would love a big dog again, but I think my health demands a smaller breed. Big dogs are just so special and your relationship with them is very different than w smaller breeds. For one, they are generally more confident and stable in their attitude and not scared or nervous if trained and socialized properly. You can really live in them and play in ways not tolerated w smaller breeds. So seeing how utterly magnificent Bruce is, his temperament, his loving, sweet disposition, confidence, and how he loves his family has started the longing for a pup. I understand how devastating it is to lose a dog you are so close to. Sorry you had to go through that. It is so difficult. Since you mentioned you are not sure about a large dog due to your health, I wanted to let you know a Corso may be the most serious time commitment you will ever have to a dog if you want him/her to behave as well as Bruce. Also, Corso professionals said the Blue Corso generally has a more aggressive temperament by nature. I am sure any color can. But a professional will know the most gentle from the most aggressive potential out of the litter. I have the Blue and he does NOT give kisses. It is not the nature of a Corso to accept strangers openly and mine never did, even when he was small. Jason is probably the most committed person ever to his Corso. My German Shepherd is a Teddy Bear compared to my Corso. The Corso is an incredible dog. It also requires incredible work and attention. The strength alone could cause potential risk from things, like if he gets excited and accidentally bumps you...happened to me twice and I went up in the air each time. There is an episode Jason made where his wife accidentally got injured playing with Bruce. I hope you do get a puppy or dog regardless of the breed. Dogs make life better. If you get a Corso, make sure you watch Jason's videos from episode 1 beforehand. He does a great job explaining many things you will want to know before committing. There are many things I did not know which has completely affected my way of life to care for him. Bruce's loving sweet disposition to strangers is Jason's work. They do not come that way. Confidence, a born instinct. Wish you lots of love with your new fur baby when you decide to bring another home. :)

Really cool you put this together! Fun fact about dogs. They have no concept of time. They can kind of tell to a certain extent whether it's been a long or short amount of time. If you go out to your mailbox for example, they won't get super excited when you walk back in 2 minutes later. However, when you've been gone an hour or 10 hours, besides needing to go to the bathroom and fed, they really can't tell a difference. That's what studies have shown that I read. I'm more than happy to be told those studies are wrong though if you're a vet or scientist or have other studies to disprove that. I love learning new things about dogs and can't wait to go pick up my Cane Corso pup! 🤗

I love this idea. My golden barks at dogs on TV. He can be very dog reactive. I put this on to see how he would do. I think at some parts when Bruce Wyane was just walking he was ok, but when he was playing it cause him to react. He just starts barking and crying at the screen. Love Bruce Wyane with Norman.

I came across your videos in the last 48 hours and have watched 7 or 8 now then I went to find the latest one to comment on in hopes of you seeing it. I am absolutely impressed with your family's (Bruce included ) channel . I raised and grew up around wolves as a child and teen. And had three very large mastiff in my adult life my last 2 were rescue from the kill shelter with a week or less each. Both were damaged emotionally and one physically as well both were deemed untrainable These animals were not given even chance with thier owners they had no idea what they were getting into and disposed of them when they did realize. Through HARD work and consistent even tempered training they've become or came as the case may be the smartest well mannered loving animals ive ever had the pleasure too own My boy now (a 150 pound Spanish Mastiff) is invited to my job on the ferry as nightwatch and engineering maintenance crew anytime his momma has to stay overnight for her work. Just like Bruce, with all the stuff going on in the engine room or the rest of the ferry that I maintain hes calm cool and curious. Till he sees the Chief in his white coveralls then he's nothing but wiggles and waggles. Its almost embarrassing if it weren't so hilarious. He knows who got the power on board and weather or not he gets to come to work or not. Hundreds of square feet of deck to run on not once lifted a leg on ship always asked to leave the ship to take care of business. I say all this to give you some idea of my dog experience when I say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU For the complete reality for which you warn people of and that that beautiful beast you have is the consequence of HARD work and COMPLETE dedication to your animal in everyway. Not just bring it home add food and water ..........poof a good xxl dog. That's what I end up rescuing. Thank you you three thank you Did I say it enough LOL 😆 Ps please give Bruce Wayne a couple of belated birthday 🎂 scratches under the chin from this new fan his and your work.

If you know dogs and body language, the eyes, stance, tension around eyes and mouth, tail position and activity, +, I would. Dogs sense fear, apprehension, anxiety etc., and if you pay attention to his messages and keep a calm, gentle voice and demeanor, generally the dog responds in kind. I have been known to make friends w guard dogs on duty, not that I would do that again, though.

Jason, if you read this question I hope you have an answer. Have you ever had to leave Bruce 4-7 days in the hands of someone else? If not, have you planned out or trained him where you think he will be ok? I am asking because one time I had to leave mine with someone else for 4 days. He refused to eat anything except for a few treats and lost a lot of weight. All my dogs have had separation anxiety, but he was truly emotionally crushed. I know that I could never leave him for very long and expect him to be ok. So, I am committed to him. The Corso has a very unique mindset when it comes to emotions with their human family. My boy has a completely different temperament than yours, but I can see how close Bruce is to you. Anyway, I was wondering if you have had to face this challenge.
