All of them look great - EXCEPT for the Mayfair Witches. As a diehard Anne Rice fan, I refuse to spend my money to watch her books butchered. When you remove two of the main characters, one being an 80 year old man and the other being the love interest that is completely central to the story, and mash them into one character? No. That isn't CLOSE to the story that Anne Rice wrote.

I started the Last of Us. I was hoping it would wow me like Walking Dead. The first two episodes had me interested. Then they started throwing in a bunch of unnecessary gay stuff. So I have pretty much lost all interest.

Other than maybe the ones produced by Disney, what's the point of getting interested in any of these shows? They'll have one or maybe two seasons, end on a cliffhanger and get canceled. It's what happens to 99% of all new shows. Almost nothing has any kind of an ending any more.

If you loved the books, DON'T watch the show. From the trailers released, it only vaguely resembles Anne Rice's story. They even got Rowen's last name wrong. The 2 main characters have been written out - including Michael - and minor characters in the books have major roles in this....production.

@@438019 I think when you read & love a book, the screen adaption - big or small - is always a huge disappointment. Worse when that story is re-written to the point even small things, like her name, are rewritten. These things may seem small but they eventually add to the bigger picture.

they should of left louie being a french noble who at the time couldn't of been black and changed his back story slightly i was inlove with the story and the idea of an update just not happy with certain characters because of how they are portrayed by the actors they could of done better with the writing process and not rushed it and the actors who played certain characters should of brought their A game but they didn't Idk why but it happens other than that it was decent nothing to rave about mind you. The Last of Us tv show looks more interesting than the game did which is probably gonna be the only thing to save it. secret invasion looks good and so do the spin offs of the walking dead along with agatha, however ahsoka might suck depending on who is in charge of the project because if its who i think it is its gonna bomb hard because the writing and head of the project i'd love it to be Jon Fauvreau to be in charge he seems to be wanting to save the mcu and starwars universe. Velma was already canceled was released last year on HBO max and subsequently canceled. now Clone High i didn't know they were getting a comback/reboot so thats cool, and now we get to avatar it should be interesting with the fact netflix has been getting better with live action movies and tv shows of certain shows like avatar so IDK.

This adaptation of Interview with the Vampire was just awful, it is nothing like the books and totally messes up the tale. If you have read all the books you would know how this version is utterly pathetic and lacking in the nuance of character development. It was beyond bad, but I guess since it was all politically Woke so that's why it's considered good.

I get the impression many studios are coming to the conclusion in the end of 2022 that shoe horning representation and identity politics into a poor or non existent plot is bleeding them money. Unfortunately many of these shows were in production before they came to that conclusion. May have to wait till 2024/2025 for anything good.
