Hi Tami and Kevin: Here are some movies that we watched which you may find worth a viewing ;) The Linguini incident (with the late/great David Bowie) Late Night with the Devil His Three Daughters Alien Romulus My Old Ass Joker Folie a Deux Memoirs of a Snail Martha Abigail Wild Robot Addams Family Values Thelma P.S. We love Parks & Rec!!! Starting with Season 2, it really distinguishes and distances itself from the Office. Incredible how many of those actors back then are now so well-established and known. Enjoy!

There are 5 titles of Three Sisters” that I saw. Which one did you watch?
@Josefer9Ай бұрын
@@TamiDunn I mistakenly had it as "Three Sisters", it is actually "His Three Daughters" with Elisabeth Olsen who played Candy in the "Love & Death" mini-series. It also stars Natasha Lyonne from the excellent "Poker Face" and "Russian Doll" shows! Enjoy :)

Me (American) and my fiance (British) LOVE the BBUK discussion! We just discovered the review video from last month and enjoyed the in-depth discussion quite a bit and we were looking forward to this month’s just for BBUK.

We try to take cues from comments. I was surprised more people weren't watching it.

I think I might have mentioned this before but I would love it you put timestamps/sections on these movie/TV videos, it would make it much easier for me and others to see what you thought of a specific TV/movie if we don't have time to watch the full video :)

Shameless is painful to watch in the last few seasons. Its just awkward and so ludacris. But you have to finish it just to know you completed it.
@TamiDunnАй бұрын
I agree. A lot that’s going on would never happen in real life.

I felt exactly the same about Schitts Creek, 2 episodes in.

And ALL of the characters got on my nerves 😂

I absolutely always have to watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles every November..i know it by heart! I also enjoyed the Martha documentary. I have Disclaimer on my list next :). I know The Crowded Room didn't get great reviews but I might still check it out. It IS inspired by a novel about a real life criminal..the novel (and actually also a netflix documentary) called The Minds of Billy Milligan. The documentary is very interesting! I love Parks and Rec and am glad you guys got started on it. It gets better and better. I love Schitt''s Creek but i agree, when I first started it I wasn't hugely drawn in...its very dry Canadian humour ...but it gets so great ...very cute and funny and sweet.

When you first started watching Shameless I commented that I was interested to see how you’d feel towards the end. It was so fantastic and then just started going downhill. Still loved it so much as a whole though
@TamiDunnАй бұрын
I’ll be most interested to see where they go with Frank’s story.

The best movies I saw this month were Wicked, Memoir of a Snail, and A Real Pain. I also saw Heretic, Conclave, Gladiator 2, Moana 2, and Juror #2. Those were only just ok. Red One's VOD date will either be December 10th or 17th. Probably won't be free to stream on Amazon Prime until early 2025.
@TamiDunnАй бұрын
I want to watch Memoir of a Snail and A Real Pain. Ashley saw Wicked and thought it was too long and didn’t get far enough into the story.
@TechnosquidАй бұрын
@TamiDunn that's fair. It was kinda cruddy that they waited until release week to update the IMDb listing to "Wicked: Part 1"

You’ve given some great recommendations and I’m sure in the coming months I’ll recommend them to you😂😂. I watched The Devils Hour, gripping and each episode ended on a cliffhanger, making me binge the series. Gifted is a lighthearted feel good movie, would be my movie recommendation which I think you might have recommended 😂. Grotesquerie, boring and a waste of time, don’t even think I made it through one episode. I finished the US Big Brother, but I know you guys aren’t fans. I’ve been getting into American Crime Story, the 2nd season was the OJ story, little slow but good. Thanks for your recommendations.

I watched American Crime Story about OJ. I will look into The Devil’s Hour! Thank you!!

Missed last month but totally would have voted for Parks and Rec! It changes a lot after the first season (in a good way). Relies less on cringe humor than The Office.

Well speaking of Peter pan. I really love captain hook. One of my favorite villains. Another good show to watch is penguin on max. That show was really good. But I'm looking forward until December. Because I want to watch. Dexter original sin.

Off topic but have you guys seen the play The Book of Mormon? So funny I think you’d both enjoy it. Definitely not for those easily offended.

I thought Red One was decent. Not my favorite movie of that stars The Rock (I like the Fast & Furious movies he is in along with The Rundown) or favorite Christmas movie, but it was fine. Nothing really offensive. As in shoehorning in lame messages/lectures that we get in a lot of movies now. Plus political stuff, especially skin color and gender. It was just a "fun" movie. I liked J.K. Simmons' Santa too. I think I liked David Harbour's Santa a little more in Violent Night though. That's if we are talking recent versions of Santa. But between J.K. Simmons and David Harbour's Santas, Hollywood is doing good at making Santa a pretty cool and interesting character. I'm more of a Halloween person, but Red One and Violent Night have started to make me like Santa a little more as a character than what I have in recent years. I'd highly recommend Violent Night. It was one of my favorite movies of 2022. It is violent like the title says, but the movie is also funny and does have heart to it. They even do a spoof/parody/make fun of Home Alone in one scene since a lot of those traps Kevin sets up in the Home Alone movies, Harry and Marv aren't surviving in real life. Violent Night is pretty much Die Hard but just swap out Bruce Willis/John McClane for Santa. And then if you've seen the John Wick movies, Santa pretty much has John Wick's style of fighting.
@TamiDunnАй бұрын
Kevin watches the John Wick movies, but I don’t. I was out after the first one.

I have Woman of the Hour and Martha on my watchlist. 70’s and 80’s were bad hair especially for me when my mom cut my hair off and had my hair permed!!! Planes, Trains and Automobiles is one of the best movies. It’s one I laugh to I cry. Hilarious. I agree, Hoarders does make me want to deep clean the entire house. However, it’s sad that people live like that due to some sort of trauma in their life. Always love these videos. Great recap
