I had this done when I was 14 due to a car accident injury, but more of my colon and small intestine were removed. It’s been 26 years now, it’s been a long road, but I’m still living and didn’t need a colostomy bag, so that’s good.

Just got the operation done last night and let me tell you. It’s painful at first but it’s life changing. I can eat food without pain and I can move normally as well. In my opinion it’s all worth it.
