A bunch of infantry men with the proper rifle can Knock this ST1 tank out of action by simply firing at the tyres meanwhile, main battle tanks are not supposed to use tyres in order to gain higher survivability in combat. I love my country and I want the best for Nigeria security and they're doing a great job ROME wasn't built in a day I believe my country will get better gradually because I see that already happening, cutting edge military equipments like M1A2 Abrams, f35 lightning and f22 raptor take my breath away not tucano and ST1

@davidnkem78023 жыл бұрын
@@1TeddySOS impressive, now let me educate you The purpose for buying these vehicles are not for conventional warfare against a regular army. Buying tracked vehicles is a no-no because 1. There is no defined Frontline 2. The enemy uses unconventional means to halt, delay advance and possibly cause collateral damage to own equipment 3. Tracked vehicles don't stand well against mines especially the pressure plated ones. FYI... I am in the front line and once a tracked vehicle is untracked, it's totally useless when we come under contact. But if one tyre blows up, the vehicle can still move with the remaining 7 which i was opportuned to witness during one of our numerous encounters with Boko Haram terrorists
@1TeddySOS3 жыл бұрын
@@davidnkem7802 nicely said and thank you for your efforts to make Nigeria safe, you're in the field you know better I just thought tracked tanks will offer more protection to our brave men out there I totally forgot about mines in battlefield Which are so effective against both tracked vehicles and other types of vehicles . The Nigerian army is well equipped with weapons and enough men capable of defeating terrorists and bandits. The major setback they have is that their operations are limited to certain areas, and certain individuals on the orders of the Northern elites and Buhari himself. That makes the operations of the army very difficult and controversial, and that basically provides terrorists and bandits with the upper hand to reenforces for further attacks. There is something sinister to this whole scenario. Buhari, his kinsmen and cronies must get straight with God, and Nigerians.
