When your principal and his administration was increasing the cost of living recklessly through harsh economic policies, you guys never knew it will result to this consequences. When Tinubu increased fuel price from under ₦200 to the current ₦850, what was he thinking? I used to buy bathing/toilet soap for ₦150, but it is now ₦550. The price of Sugar, bread, garri and electricity tariff, etc have tripled. In some cases, the costs have quadrupled. Factor that into the National Minimum Wage and your government needs to do better by offering organised labour nothing less than ₦150,000 to help cushion the suffering they are going through. No worker in Nigeria who pays house rent, transportation fare, school fees for children, hospital bills, buys clothes, and feeds himself and family should conservatively earn below ₦150k as things stand today to be able to survive and not be in heavy debt every month.
