Glasses were reference to Mr. India where his character can only be seen in Red light. So, they used Red-tinted sunglasses in the movie to see him. As for exchanging positions, it's a reference to a Nayak movie scene.

1.Glasses refers to his all time blockbuster movie Mr.India where he became invisible and only way to see him was through red glasses 2.Reporter for one-day refers to his other iconic movie Nayak where he as a journalist ask tough questions to a politician and in reply he was challenged to become chief minister for one-day 3.He is famous for his chest-hair and everyday there are new jokes-memes about his hair fertility and Dr.Batra is famous doctor for hairloss in India
@anuragsinghrana92215 жыл бұрын
Multiple references missed: 1. Glasses reference from movie Mr India, where he had the power to be invisible, except when seen in red light or through red glasses. 2. Baal Vivah is a pun - Baal means child and also hair - Child Marriage / Hair Marriage. So, since Anil Kapoor is mocked for being too hairy, it is a joke. 3. The roles exchange is a joke on the movie Nayak in which he plays a reporter, and exchanges position with a politician for a day. 4. Soch nahi, rishta wahi - is a pun of the Star networks tagline - rishta wahi, soch nayi. The former means - no thought, same relation. The latter means - new thoughts but same relationship. That second tagline was when they rebranded/relaunched stuff in a new packaging. 5. Also, Arnab, the actual reporter moved from the channel Times Now to start his own channel Republic TV. So that initial joke was on that new channel.
@priyat36495 жыл бұрын
Soch Nai Rishta Wohi - is a tag line of a channel which means new way of thinking but same relationship (channel reinventing itself) which was changed to soch nahi rishta wahi which means no thought put into it and same relationship (its a joke) and the glasses is from an old Anil Kapoor Movie called Mr. India where he becomes invisible by wearing a watch and can be seen only with special glasses which are rose tinted 😂. Also Arnub the host mimics Arnab Goswami who is a news presenter and has a news channel called Republik (here called Freepublik shortened to F...K ) who is extremely loud and obnoxious and conducts these debates where he is the only one speaking and screams at the top of his voice, Nation wants to know is his favourite line and this actor makes a fantastic mockery of him...Anil Kapoor and many Indian actors are widely mocked for putting on fake American accents while speaking english.. so thats it, cannot explain every joke.. 🙏🏻 and By the way Baal means hair (AK is hairy) and baal vivah means child marriage..

That 2 minute noodle joke could be a referrence to what Amrita Singh called him in mid-80s,she called him "2 minutes noodles" because he ejaculated quickly when they were in a relationship but i don't think Anil Kapoor would have agreed with that sarcasm on Camera.

In the movie Mr. India, Anil Kapoor had a watch that turned him invisible but he could be seen under red light or with red glasses. In the movie Nayak, he's a reporter who gets dared to become the chief minister (kinda like a Mayor) of the entire state for a day because he asks too many questions and accuses the current minister on live television, hence the exchange of job roles. Aaaand Nishi was right, Baal can mean young but also hair. Since Anil Kapoor is considered the hairy-est man in the industry and also someone who doesn't seem to age, it was a play on words between hairy vs child marriage.

The "journalist for one day" swap was a take on Nayak, one of his most iconic films, where he became the Chief Minister for a day after an interview with the actual CM. Baal Vivaah - "Baal" has multiple meanings in hindi. It can mean hair (also, pubes), it can mean child. Anil Kapoor is famously hairy (body hair). So the double entendre here is child marriage and hairy marriage. Glasses - One of Anil Kapoor's iconic movies was Mr. India. It was a sci-fi/superhero movie, where Anil's character could turn invisible using a watch-like gadget. The only way to see him while invisible was through red glass. So here he says "I could see you because you are not wearing the watch". Lakhan - Another of his iconic movies "Ram Lakhan", where he played the character of Lakhan. It had a superhit song "Ae ji, O ji..My Name is Lakhan". The "ae ji, o ji" is also referenced here. One Day as an Anchor - One his most popular movies later in his career was "Nayak" where he plays a journalist, who is challenged by a corrupt politician to become a minister for one day.
