@@calibrazxr750 You're a proper tit mate, this engine only has 1 camshaft not 'camshafts' as the title states, and the 'mechanic' in the film says this engine is lighter than the 5.0 version which is the same engine with a longer stroke ie same weight. He then fits a crappy pulley instead of the better original version. You are clearly in love with the mechanic in this film, I hope you're very happy with this news.

What's stopping Edd from working together with Brewer isn't location, it his relationship with Brewer, and with the most recent quotes from Brewer, there is no way those two are going to be working with each other anytime soon.

@@gpaje Both parties feel aggrieved with the other. Edd feels that Mike should have backed him up when Velocity decided to take over the show and make changes he didn't agree with and Mike feels that Edd betrayed him by not seeing the bigger picture and sticking with the show. Rover never built 4.3 engines - that was a TVR invention so the donor engine would have been a 4.0 from the factory. They never had multiple cams either despite what the title suggests..... they did always suffer cam (and valvetrain) wear, not a specific oil system issue they were just never great from an oil supply perspective & cars like TVRs where the usage is occasional then they get more than their fair share of drained down "dry" starts. The 4.3 had a performance cam as parg of the original spec too so depending on what he fitted it isn't necessarily an upgrade. Usual TV lightweight hogwash.

Crazy to see flat tappet lifters in an engine this new. The cam lobe was probably flat either because somebody used an oil with a low ZDDP content or it just wasn't broken in properly. That's a pretty piss poor design considering american V8's have had hydraulic roller lifters since the 60's.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((
