At 1:32, I can hear Hungarian for a brief period of time, so I think the transmitter should be at Western Romania.

Yes they were. The Albanian anthem's melody was taken from a Romanian patriotic song. The Romanians used the original song as their anthem between 1975 and 1977.

WOW. During this recording u can hear the sound carrier of MTV (Hungarian TV). What is the channel? It must be R1 or R2. btw have you got longer recording from TVR? Including the NEWS.

now is see, R2. the tx is maybe TURNU-SEVERIN. In 2006 romanians has been closed all transmitters in VHF1 band :(

Raluca Daniela, se vede prost, deoarece semnalul TVR era prins din Vestul Europei, pe bază de o antenă Yagi și un aparat de amplificare a semnalului, din cauza frecvenţei, semnalul era interferat cu radioul unguresc.

1985-1990. In 1985-1988 TVR started at 8 p.m. (Mo-Fr) or 7 p.m. (weekends), in 1988 it was shifted to 7 p.m. everyday.

hmm... i notice a lot of snow...some results of bad signal (that wah-wah or whatever its called effect on the music), some interference with another TV-Radio channel..... (hai acu shi pe romana :D) deci se vede k semnalul era f prost, cu puricei multzi, cu valurile alea care le facea muzica (un pic creepy dupa parerea mea :D), parca interfereaza cu un alt post de TV sau radio...

It's because this is a TV-DX Reception. The quality is often so bad.

The interference comes from Transmitter Pécs in Hungary, which used to broadcast on the same channel in the analog times
