I honestly believe the absence of a gear position indicator is that much of a deal breaker, it's just a showpiece in my opinion. Those who know their bike don't need such a fancy feature. Those who doesn't know which gear they are in without looking at the console should get a good lesson on how to ride better.

Hi bro, I have apache 160 4v, 3 months old.. around 3100 kms ridden. From past 1 month, my bike's engine (or something from engine side) is making loud noise...its like as if engine is having too much load on it while running. Specially when speed is between 38-52 kmph. I am using motul 7100 10W40 engine oil and had it since 2500 kms ridden. Also, gear shifts are not smooth. Specially first and second gear. And the rear disc brake is making squeaking noise when i apply brakes. Please help me in resolving these issues. Even if i go to service center, what am i supposed to ask them to check? Plz help

Hey bro, great content n detailed review. Have a question for u.. I recently bot the RTR 200 2.0 edition and the bike is super amazing. And my personal choice is having a single piece handle bar just like the 160 RTR has. Can the 160 handle bar set up be put on a 200 RTR? Bcoz i really felt 160 has a bit more comfort compared to 200. I am used to the royal enfield bullet from a decade and RTR 200 seems to have a very agressive seating position. Plz advise on this and all r welcome to comment on this.

For good fuel economy but just a tat high maintenance go for the fi.. you get a gear position indicator too with the fi but not with the carburettor. The fi variant is a bit more smoother than the carb variant.. I will always go for fi than carb.. check some carb vs fi videos if you have any doubts.. whatever you do ,just don't buy the rear drum variant.

How to fix the headlight issue ? I also have a unicorn 160 with a similar problem, it's headlight is simply not powerful enough to use on darker roads, not even on the high beam.

Breaking is quite decent , I test it personally and didn't find any lack on breaking , though the breaking distance is a bit longer but it's very enough to stop the bike on safer side.

Handling is super.. it gives me 35 kmpl at speed of 40 to 50.. 28kmpl at speed of 70 to 80.. my byke is new it rans 3000 kilometers.. showroom said it gives best milege after six thousans odo....
