Hi Sir, This is a Good review, based on facts. I really appreciate your effort in clarifying the specs in laymans/user perspectives. I beg to differ from 2 of your findings. Rest are pretty spot on. First Normally the battery packs are crash worthy making static weights like gas cylinder not much of a concern. Actually it is better suited due to full torque from 0 rpms. The more issue will be with humps and other hits that can happen in bad roads , flying stones etc which can dent and intrude in to battery compartment. Incase of a crash in rainy condition and the battery lithium substrate is exposed to the rain, the batteries will simply explode, not fire, explode. Lithium reacts violently with water. Probablilty is less, but it is a possibility. God bless that poor soul who happens to be near it. Second, the problem with hub motor is the durability of the motor. The clearance between stator and rotor is like 0.5mm and when we use hub motor for Indian road conditions it needs to be engineered well, which I am sure TVS has taken care of, but we as users are best served if we avoid muddy watery roads and fine dust areas. Lastly , without liquid cooling and heating devices the lithium based batteries cannot be charged in sub zero temperatures without permanently damaging substrate structures. Though not applicable in south India, North Indian users must take care of this fact , considering I believe the battery pack is still liquid cooled in these current gen electic scooters. Otherwise as I said great review, enjoyed and learned from it. I have been designing chassis systems for electric vehicles as part of my job. Hence I shared my views considering your great review here. Thank you.
