Great videos! The NHSL is truly a unique operation. The ability to skip stations where no one is waiting to get on and/or off is a huge plus. The warning-light system's purely electromechanical and has been working for a _century_. I don't know why other systems haven't copied it, because it can shave several minutes off the total run time. P.S. there's a minor typo in one caption; "instrAmental" should be "instrUmental"

One of the captions in your video states that a train can bypass a station where no passengers are present. If a passenger, on board, wants to get off at a station where no passengers are waiting, is there a method to signal the motorman ?

Daniel Padova Yes. There is pressure tape you press to make a stop request just like on a bus.
