thank you for your reaction! you can tell that they’re really into the songs and putting their all into the performances. this was back in the day when backing tracks weren’t as loud and you didn’t have pre-recorded vocals for dance heavy performances. also it seems like you’re mostly reacting to ballads right now so i’d recommend the live versions of some more upbeat songs like darkness eyes, zion, crazy love, ride on, choosey lover, 9095, hey! girl, million men, and last angel

Thanks for the reaction. Yes, their Japanese discography is unbeatable and so iconic! Majority of their most famous performances are in Japanese, so they’re not really known to K-pop fans sadly. And you can tell in the way they harmonize that their training as an acappella group is what made all the difference. The reason no one sounds like that is that acappella training is not standard for idols, not even for singers in general. And they were trained as an acappella-dance group, a weird combination, so their vocals being stable when dancing also makes sense.

I always go yessss while nodding to your comment 🤣 Honestly, I discovered them 15 years ago and they still make me feel deep feelings when I listen to their live ballads and acapella to this day. And My Destiny is my favorite song too!! Some recommendation if you’re interested. - Heart, Mind, and Soul at Tokyo Dome The composer of this song said he was unsure if they could sing the song well since they were like 18-20 at the time of recording. They were 21-23 at the time of Tokyo Dome live, older than the time of recorded version but still, they don’t sound like young adults who only experienced life for 20-something years in that song 😂 Love them for it though - Summer Dream at a-nation 2009 This is their fun, energetic song. Personally best performance for their summer pop song. It just helps to remind me that they were proper idols capable of fun stuff too XD - Bolero at Nissan Stadium (2017) I know you already reacted to OT5 Bolero but this duo version is good too. This was when they just came back from mandatory 2 year military service and they nailed that Bolero with just the two of them despite it being probably the most difficult ballad out there even in their OT5 times. - Android at Nissan Stadium (2017) It’s a dance song which shows why they’re kings of performance even as a duo. They were dancing and singing all live in the rain. - TVXQ - Farewell If you’re up for some unofficial release. This is their unreleased song due to the lawsuit issue. I believed someone involved with the production released and deleted it but the song survived because fans recorded it in time. The lyrics are heartbreaking and to me it’s their best, most emotional ballad by far. Post-production sounds a bit rough but their vocal performance is top tier 🥹 - Holding Back the Tears at SBS 3rd Album Showcase Another ballad which is really good for my soul ☺️ Hope you enjoy it too! If you’re up for some solo: - Thank U by U-KNOW YUNHO The MV is basically a movie on its own. Yunho showcases his multi-talents here. Probably a bit more digestible than his Vuja De XD I really love that you dive really deep into their songs and enjoy it so much. Wasurenaide I think it was written by Jaejoong Purple line, Mirotic Their live dancing and singing is amazing. I think japan performances made them even stronger live singers. Japan live is also awesome. There was a tv show about granting people wishes. 3 junior high school were found that wished to dance Purple Line with THSK. Then THSK came to their school and taught the dance to the three students for 3 hours, then performed in front of the whole school. "Junsu not doing music is illegal" 😂 loving your comment. Should you be aware of Junsu hobby of doing ad lib of his parts in almost all songs?😊 Get Out Junsu's squeel was famous. I'm going to leave a second comment just to boost engagement lol. Junsu still makes music. He's a musical actor now but will still release songs and has a Killing Voice video. There are still so many more amazing songs in their discography. Insa (one of my absolute favs), Forever Love, I Believe, Don't Cry My Lover ( only audio for this, I don't think there's a live performance), You're My Melody, Crazy Love, Summer Dream, Stand by You, Don't Say Goodbye (There's a performance of them singing this as their last time singing together, I think). Oh, and JYJ did a cover for Whitney Houston - I have nothing which was amazing. I'm thoroughly enjoying your journey through OT5 songs. So, one thing that makes me admire Jaejoong is the fact that he wrote In Heaven for his beloved friend (an actor who committed suicide), so In Heaven's lyrics are more towards a person who passed away than an ex-lover. But what impressed me about Jaejoong was that he could have kept this song as a personal, solo one (rightfully so since it's a personal one) yet he chose the rest of the members to sing it with him and in the MV, only Junsu appears. You barely understand his pain and he detaches from it but it is there. Thank you for these reactions!!

I just woke up and saw your video notification 😌 When tvxq sings, they not only hypnotize with their voice, but they can also get me into the song even though I don't understand the meaning. look at their expressions when singing, especially when singing ballads. don't forget to check "hey dont bring me down", "break up the shell" live version. And also A Nation 2008 concert, you have to see their vocal abilities when singing live while jumping and dancing 😂 Many people think DB5K is only good when singing ballads, without knowing they can also eat all genres of songs

Taxi is my all time favorite TVXQ ballad. It makes me so emotional everytime i listen. Wasurenaide, In Heaven and Get Out are written and composed by Jaejoong. (Get Out is a collabration with Yoochun) In Heaven is about an actor friend of Jaejoong who passed away. You really need to check out Junsu's solo works. I recommend you Tarantallgra (his solo debut), Flower (his prime) and Red Diamond (his latest single). I also really love his musical theaters. He is an amazing actor and has an insane stage presence. If you have time you should check out his performances from the musicals Dracula, Dorian Gray and Death Note.

Wasurenaide and In Heaven are composed and written by Jaejoong. Get out is a collaboration between Jaejoong and Yoochun. Unfortunately, apart from this tour, which ended with two concerts in the Tokyo Dome, Wasurenaide has not been performed elsewhere. So this is the only recording of a concert performance. Too bad you didn't pick Mirotic from the Tokyo Dome concert.

I was in tears and in my feels at whatever they say because that reminded me why I fell in love with Jaejoong's voice. But all these songs actually really show cased his voice so well. And you're right their discography is insane! I basically went years only listening to them and still do mostly only listen to them because they have so much music it's insane. Lol and between them all now they give me everything! Jaejoong gives me rock, Junsu ballads and up beat dance tracks. TVXQ dance songs and just good vibes. JYJ gave me so many good songs too they had one of my favorite sounds. And don't get me started on all their Japanese stuff from when they were still 5. Choosey lover, darkness eyes, survivor and list goes on for so many good songs they have. Some I even forget exist then I'm like gasp I can't believe I forgot about that one haha they truly are incredible and I don't think anyone will ever come close to making me feel the way they do.

I loved it, I simply loved it, but I recommend watching JYJ's songs in video clips, since at concerts they change it a little, why do they want to make it like a moment of fun with the fans, or the song is chosen for the end of the concert and they do it as if to say goodbye a little more fun, that's why they vary it, so I recommend that you watch their original videos, and GET OUT is very pretty in its original version😁🙂, and did you know that the song IN HEAVEN was written by JAEJOONG who had red hair, and that it was written for his friend who died, Another curiosity is that the word MIROTIC was created by JAEJOONG, since it is a play on words that he made to name the song, and I would love it if you could see a program of theirs or a complete concert🤭😁, it would be great, well but I loved it, so you have to see WRONG NUMBER in concert, well their presentation in concert, since they use weapons and it's pretty🥰😃, well let's wait the third part😁😃, greetings☺️

Taxi and Lovin' You is one of my favorite songs from them. everytime I listen to it I feel like I could cry. I first discovered TVXQ with Mirotic back in 2008ish, and Junsu immediately caught my attention... more than 15 years later and hes still my ult. I've spent years watching kpop reactors but I guess just with time TVXQ's music has taken a bit of a back seat... watching you discovering them and diving into their discography just hits different, it's bringing back so many memories from when i first discovered them and kpop in general. Didn't realise how much i needed this 💜

Oh wow! so glad I could bring you some good vibes. It truly is a shame that many people get into KPop but don’t deep dive into the older generations. I appreciate the industry as a whole and even though I was really introduced to it during the 4th gen I understand that there wouldn’t even be a 4th without the others. My discovery of TVXQ started with the duo’s “Rebel” and I’ve been deep diving ever since. My amazement learning their history as OT5 and then interacting with the fandom (whom ive come to love) I’ve been stuck in this rabbit hole ever since with no regrets. I’ve been playing “Whatever They Say” Acapella and Wrong Number on repeat for the past couple weeks 🤣 two of my favs. I’ve been BIAS wrecked multiple times by each of them 😂. Cassiopeia was the oficial fanclub name for TVXQ ever since they debuted. When they split Cassiopeia remained as the official fc for TVXQ (now duo). oh mylady junsu is actually so active he never not realising albums 😂 at the end of the year, he and jaejoong will have a joint concert for their 20th (or more likely 21st) anniversary. maybe... before you check out his discographies, you can listen (AND REACT) his DINGO KILLING VOICE!!! his musical songs are so powerful and beaaauuuutiful! well, he paved the way for idols to be musical actor without being underestimated. check out his killing voice, you won't regret it!
