Before we started to put the engine in I wanted to clean up under the hood really well. I also wanted to take this time to put new fuel lines in. The V8 Sierra and Silverado Fuel lines are different from the V6 lines. They say you have to remove the cab to replace the fuel line in a Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra but I was able to sneak them out. It was not easy but can be done. Now that the engine bay is all cleaned up hopefully we can start installing some parts.

Really enjoy your videos and your channel. I am actually doing this right now to my 2000 NBS Silverado and bought the fuel line set as well to change over instead of cutting the V6 ones and fitting them to the V8 motor. I like your attention to detail on things and how you try to make every modification as clean as possible and done correct. Keep it up and keep the videos coming! Just to throw it out there, have you thought of doing a HD hydroboost swap on the Sierra while you have the motor out? I think it would go great with the brake upgrades you have done. We did it to mine and it was a pretty easy swap.
