In this video I am going to show you how to lower a 93 to 02 Camaro SS, Firebird or Trans Am Convertible. After adding the 17x11 Rear wheels in the last video I wasn't happy with the way the car set. I have done several fbody drops in the past but the convertible requires a little more work. I have a set of UMI lowering springs and Bilstein shocks that are brand new from the trans am part out. I did have to order a set of UMI relocation brackets or lca relocation brackets. These keep the car from wheel hopping after lowering it. This is a great set up as they are all made to work together on a 4th Gen Fbody. It looks so much better now with the drop installed. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

I usually just bend those brake brackets back a little and I slip the lca brackets in. Just thought I'd bring it up if someone was doing this install and didn't have a cut off wheel. Great tips on the front removal!

Great video as always How’s it drive and the ride feel before and after suspension changes? Better or worse? Also any other changes need made to the vehicle since the suspension geometry has changed, like the driveshaft ect?

Did the rear end stay centered with that much drop? When I put my spring kit on mine I had to do the adjustable Panhard bar to recenter things.
