In This video we continue on the OBS Silverado. In the last video we got quite a bit accomplished. In this video we are removing the doors for paint. This includes knocking out the worn out door pins and rollers and getting the doors to my painter to respray. Removing the doors isn't too bad but getting all the inner structure apart takes some time. Removing the glass, regulator, outer door handles is a lot of work. If you have a cherry picker or engine hoist it makes the job way easier. I would also recommend having an air hammer to drive the door pins out of place. When we go back together I will be installing new door pins, bushings and roller pins. I think the doors are going to look really good when we get them back from paint. If you are looking to replace your door pins or just remove an obs door this is a great how to for the diy guy. Lots more to do! Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

don't drill the rivets, the painter can tape around it by just pulling it away from the body a tiny bit. you won't be able to tell as some paint will go under the clip

I did not enjoy doing my doors and pins/bushings and clean up on my Tahoe. New sound deadening and insulation with as much new components and hours of cleaning for show truck appeal. They are some heavy bastards
