Ggs everyone! Everyone did well and while I have practiced 400cc before, I still can’t believe I made it to final 3 considering it’s been a while since I played it! Also, that semi finals was unfortunate because on GBA SGB, I got backed by Empex and the item I chained in a mega in third was a blooper. Also, in GCN WS it sucked that I went to the left half pipe and fell off and then I was a little out of control at the end of lap 3. But a super fun time overall and we ALL know Empex is a well deserved finalist hehe! :)

Waluigi drift bonus is actually for drift acceleration. King boo’s handling bonus gives tighter drift instead. The Mario kart Wii in-game stats are slightly deceiving

Drift acceleration is your forward acceleration while drifting and doesn’t affect turning radius. This is separate from the regular drift stat, which is how fast the vehicle turns while neutral drifting. Handling controls how fast you can turn without drifting and how far from neutral you can steer while drifting. King boo has a boost to both drift and handling, so he turns better than Wario and Rosalina, who have boosts to one or the other, and Waluigi, who doesn’t have any boosts to turning.

I find it funny that 400cc is super fast in the mario kart world cause cc stands for the cubic centimeters of engine displacement and 400cc is pretty average for a real go kart or dirt bike, most cars are 2+ liters which is 2000cc.
