Hey guys, the reason why I sacrifice more than 3 seconds to get a point is because being in the middle / back of the pack means you pull better items and are able to hit more people resulting in more points. It’s a lot easier to catch up on the race when other races are standing still at the end and you’re in the back chaining mushrooms and stars. You’ll see that happen quite a few times in this video. In first, it’s very difficult to get any points unless you’re hitting lightnings and you’re never hitting good items from the boxes meaning the lead you develop won’t last on a lot of tracks (especially ones with off-road shortcuts). It's also actually good in MarioKart Tour, and even better than this mod because you get points for every person you hit. And since you hit multiple people at the same time, that's an instant combo for you lol I held off on buying a glider that gives you bloopers more often until I randomly got a few in a race and saw for myself 😅

Damn, that Lakeside Park race was amazing. Bloopers actually look really good in this mode combination, since they basically give you a free point in Countdown and they obstruct the vision of everyone in front of you which helps in Item Rain.

It didn't miss. It looks like that on the screen due to lag. The shell doesn't get destroyed when it hits a player. It continues. You can tell the player was hit by them spinning out and the point increasing at the same frame the animation starts.

I kinda feel like countdown should be a mode for the battle stages (with any vehicles at 150cc instead of slow-ass red and blue standard vehicles) the race tracks just kinda leave you out to dry if there’s no people nearby or if you’re in first

(Repost)Troy I have a great idea, get u and atlas to make MKW Battle Royale. All you have to do is have last place be "eliminated" or somehow kicked out. Then 11th place next round. Then 10th and so on until final 2. I think it would be really interesting.
