I mean I didn't grow up thinking yeah I want to end up on drugs& end up surviving the streets (I am not homeless thankfully). There are many people who go on to getting clean and helping others. We need people who have been through it,those people truly understand the struggles people have. There are many reasons people end up on drugs,& my personal opinion is mental health is a major player in it. People say well go and see your doctor or do this& that. But just because you have certain options in life doesn't mean others have got those options. Everyone's circumstances are diffrent. And support can play a massive part. Some might need a big support network others don't need it. Having a good support network can be professional people,like doctors,support workers,therapists or family & friends. Anyway I am babbling on now lol. The one who does this channel,can't think of his name off the top of my head. Is he an ex addict??,also he does offer to take people to rehab,doesn't he??. I am homeless because a 17 year old cant get a job being unshaven, having ratty clothes, and smelling like a sewer. There are no showers, no donation centers, and only a rehab facility. I have to live in a van that won't start, and I dont have any friends I can couch surf with. I cant do anything about it either, because everyone hates homeless people so much. I've never done any drugs in my life that weren't prescribed by a doctor (not even legal opiods either) and im still in this position. I know people who lost family in the wildfires, people whose house burned down. Is an act of God a drug to you? Edit: removed unnecessary swearing and insults

all of these people have families. a life. they used to be just like you but this is what happens when someone gets beat down by the world. If anyone tries to deny it, you’ve probably never gone through anything. My uncle was one of these people and tired his hardest but addiction is more than something you can rid of overnight. He snorted a line of fentanyl and overdosed. He was found in front of a 7-11 dead and luckily was able to be revived. Still to this day he has problems with addiction and for the first month kept asking for anything he could get.

Am I the only one that thinks he’s an asshole? My mom, she was extremely bad off on drugs when I was ages 3-11. She came clean, and mom was the greatest person I’ve ever met. People have potential, and don’t deserve to be treated like dogshit. I thought the same way, but things happen in people’s lives that’s sometimes uncontrollable. Some people aren’t fortunate enough to stubble upon life changing opportunities. And when they don’t have anything going for them, they turn to drugs in order to try to get rid of the pain. But seriously, you’re a grown ass man. I’m 16, without a mom now. Some of these people have probably went through absolute hell and back... put yourself in their shoes, give yourself the life they started off with (which probably wasn’t much) and see what goes for you. It honestly breaks my heart to see these people out here geeked out on drugs man... it really does. I had seven years of my life watching mom do it. But behind the drugs, there’s a person. Just like you. Biggest difference being they weren’t fortunate enough to be handed a good life. Grow up. They’re literally human beings, that may not be doing the right thing. Me and my fiance are having a really hard time getting back on our feet. We live in a car due to no fault of our own. We lost our home due to a wildfire in TN and then moved out here to the San Diego area to start over (because that is where he originally is from). But if you want to come give $20 to someone to actually help them instead of buying drugs with it. It would be the highlight of my life.we love your show. And we would also love a shirt!!! (Maybe asking a little overboard with the shirt.) But there are some spots here downtown where they literally shoot up on front of everybody and don't even try to hide it whatsoever. They even do it right in front of the police. I stay away from that area at all costs. But had to go there a couple times cause we get our mail in the building right in front of it. But it's a good spot for you guys.
