Getting my wisdom teeth taken out also started me down the long road of opiods and eventually to fent. Been sober 33 months now, got my money way up, and been living in a nice crib with good roommates. Life is so much more fulfilling now. Always been a fan of ur content Dru!

I'm sorry to be the bad guy. but you don't get addicted from one script of 5mg or 10mg whatever perks they give you. and you can try and say it was something else but they don't give you more than vikes, percs or Tylenol 3's for having teeth out. most wont even give you anything more than meloxicam or naproxen. so you cant try and put the blame on that. you could fly through two months worth of those things and you wont withdrawal and no damn way your getting more than that. realistically your probably only getting less than a month. I know from experience. you made that jump to the harder stuff and put yourself in that addiction. trying to play that card is ridiculous. you heal quick from wisdom teeth. you wanted to get high and you wanted to party and that's why you ended up where you were. and I'm happy you beat it and you need to stay on this path cause for most its a death sentence. so congratulations. but there are people who legitimately have serious health issues and need pain medicine and because of all the people screwing it up for the legit people you cant get help. and when your in so much pain your legitimately considering suicide and no DR or hospital will take care of you. then you have no choice but to turn to dope. those are the ones who get it the worst. they don't do it for fun or to escape they have to do it because its that or death. and that happens to good people and it destroys them.

The places here that help low income people get millions in but barely any comes out. That said it IS often a mental health issue that lead to their using. PTSD, bio polar, ECT. Just another reason why we need to destigmatize mental health issues so people aren't ashamed to seek treatment.
