Are you actually using a fog fluid mixture with distilled water in it?? I tried standard fog/haze fluid that is mostly distilled water and it barely creates and fog and then i saw that ulanzi specifically recommends making their fog juice with no water whatsoever, just pg and vg which would explain why mine just made very very light fog and spit some water out when I used normal fog juice from my big fogger.

Oh! can I charge the batteries in the fog machine or do I need a charger. I purchased from AliExpress and it came without batteries or fog juice. It wasn't that much cheaper, so I guess I'm gonna lose out on this

As it is in the fog machine, yes you can charge it via the USB cable.

I ordered one and it came without batteries any idea which brand is best. I am a little nervous about using them as in the UK they are very uncommon and deemed unsafe by our strict standards of safety.

Does it consume alot of the "Fog Juice"? How long can that full bottle of 60ml last if the fog machine was set to maximum output? Do you think we can DIY our own Fog Juice or use some readily available oil at the groceries?

Alright while watching the video I've noticed you've covered the DIY Fog Juice portion, thanks for that! But would still like to know e.g how long can that small capsule inside the fog machine last before it runs out of juice if we set it to max output? I don't really shoot indoor, but I think if I can get to an outdoor space with minimal wind, do you think that capsule is enough to set the entire vicinity in fog?

@@Emptrix I have a larger floor machine I use for outdoors but in small quick scenarios that are shot a bit tighter might be good for you. The one tank I have on mine doesn’t require a fill up for about a month. But I do short 30 sec bursts on average of about 10-15 times a day.

So after installing my device run for maybe 2 min max and that is in the lowest settings. In other setting I get oil tank overheated alert is this device not supposed to run in long durations?

It suggests 30 sec burst runs but running continuously for long times will do that to any machine I’ve ever had to include larger floor-standing units.

one solution to the USB-C port is to get a right angle male to female adaptor, then add a thick o-ring with a slot cut out, to make it stand flat or tiny cheese plate, qr plate

Mine didn't come with batteries or smoke fluid. I had to buy them separately. The only lithium ion batteries they sell on Amazon are 3.7v and the ones you have that came with it at 3.6v. I hope it won't explode in my hand when using it. I have no idea why they don't provide a link to the correct batteries to purchase.

Did you buy it used? I’ve looked and can’t find where you could have bought one without batteries and fluid. If it was new and came like that from Amazon return it. Otherwise, the batteries you mentioned will work.

@@maxie6990 I have a fire alarm in my studio and hasn’t affected it yet but funny story, when I was in the Marine Corps band, we had a fog machine for a concert and tested it in the bosses office. It was so thick it set off the alarm and the base fire station showed up. Very embarrassing. So any of them can but this one is unlikely to set one off unless it’s just too thick.
