When Ed Sheeran released Bad Habits, I made a simple, stripped back acoustic version of the song. However, I have since been playing this song a lot live and have come up with this loop arrangement. So today's video is "Bad Habits".

Hey Lee! Great cover! What other pedals do you use in your setup? I see you have an extra pedal attached that mutes and then started everything? Just trying to get some inspiration for an ed Sheehan tribute i'm trying to make :) Thanks!

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out. Yeah, I have an external footswitch (Boss FS-5U) which acts as a "start/stop all" function. Apart from that, I have an Octave pedal, which I use to loop in basslines and an EQ pedal for my soundhole pickup as I don't use a preamp. Finally, both pickups go through a Boss RV-5, which is a badass sounding reverb. If you have a look through my channel, I've made various videos about my guitar and pedalboard setup which I'm sure will be helpful. Cheers, keep well and keep playing!

Thanks Tim, glad you're enjoying the channel and great choice buying a looper. To my knowledge, "Kiss Me" isn't done with a pedal, it's just a straight acoustic song... if you know of a loop version, please link me to it and I'll take a look! Cheers!

Thanks man! Yeah, it's an FS-5U which handles the start/stop all. Unfortunately, I'm fairly sure you can't use it for that function on the RC-30. I'm not 100% on that but fairly certain

What effects/setup do you use for the "drum sound"? Same as the beat drum when you hit the body of the guitar? Greetings from Per in Sweden

Hi Per, Do you mean the kick drum sound or the "beatbox" part I do with the mic? Either way, my setup is always the same. The only additional effect I use is an octave pedal for the bass part.

@@leetownsend I’m an rc300 user. Had the 30 for like a month and said not enough, now I want the 600.

@@leetownsend not yet! Hopefully before summers over. I also have a looper eye which is really full of features but my feet/shoes are too big for the controls for playing on stage. My vision is also pretty bad in the dark, lol.
